Duran Duran played at St.Andrews in May 2005 too
Something that may be happening from next year apparently.
Least that's what I've been told by someone who works in the events industry
TresorLuntalaIs there a specific reason why St. Andrews isn’t used over the summer to host concerts?
Obviously its mainly new stadiums that host concerts, but I see that Ed Sheeran is doing a couple of nights at Portman Road and it made me wonder.
Mmmmmm Ed Sheeran at Portman Road?
I was suprised they didn't do another concert after a game this season.
UB40 aint really my thing, but I thought it was a good laugh last season.
Fat Buddha OBEit's a shithole
This. Was a totally bizarre question from the OP.
Didn’t we have BRMB party in the park a few times around the early 2000s and I definitely went to a bonfire night fireworks display around the same time.
Bizarre wondering if our revenue hunting owners would try to use the ground during the summer months?
Just saying it's a shit tip round there. It's only good for the football while we are there.
Not a nice place to play\go to a concert.
TyphoontechieThat’s one hell of an injury crisis.I did once see Elton John play at Inverness Caledonian Thistle's stadium though, which was a bit odd
Too many bin bags stacked up around the area ,might affect the acoustics
TamTyphoontechieHe's doing them to fulfill an old ambition to play there I think, pulled a few strings as he is an investor now and was able to make it work with his schedule, read an article about it the other day.
Noone in their right mind would want to play there otherwise, and probably same for St Andrews TBF.

Bit late for Herman's Hermits now, I reckon. *
