RagsThey don’t have anything compatible Rags but thank you anyway
Try [www.swinfen-vet.co.uk] ... but it's in Lichfield
I’ve booked here for Monday Rags - thank you so much
No problem ( i simply contacted the distributors and asked them)
I did this as well and they were taking a while to get back to me - Sod’s Law I just opened my inbox and you’re right that vet was the only one that carried it
Thanks again
What breed of dog is it? Nothing to do with the vets, just interested as friggin' love dogs
Would eat me out of house and home if I let him the fat shit. He’s awesome though

Unrelated to the original point of the thread but congratulations on the new dog. Dogs are great and mine has enriched my life more than I could say. What breed is he?
Im Looking at exactly the same thing at the moment (trying to find the same vaccine locally)
We pick up our first puppy on wednesday, genuinely cannot wait !
We went to see him at a week old the last seven weeks have dragged waiting for him to arrived
Best off emailing the manufacturer as Rags suggested mate, they should be able to give you a list of local vets that they supply to if you give them your postcode
If it’s Canixin, Virbac (manufacturer) told me that the only one local to me that has it is Swinfen vets just south of Lichfield. I was since told that Jollyes in Nuneaton have it too but that’s further away from me.
The woman I spoke to said they get this there quite a lot, usually with dogs purchased from the North or Scotland as Canixin is still supplied up there. She said that Canixin basically isn’t used in the Midlands or South anymore, it’s all Canigen or Nobivac which are compatible with each other but not Canixin.
You don't need annual boosters. That is old school thinking. Titre testing is the modern way.
We took socialisation really seriously and it paid dividends.
It's as if our dog has some kind of sixth sense when it comes to dogs she'll get on with and ones she'd ignore. The thing has impeccable dog manners.
You're definitely doing the right thing getting it sorted now, because it makes a massive difference in those formative weeks.
We took her out in an animal back pack to get her used to traffic, sliding doors, shops and the outside world generally - before the second jab. Then puppy classes twice a week when able and then basic training after that. Really worth the time investment for a lifetime of little hassle.
Good luck
