How old is he? 19? How many 19 year olds play every game and are the finished article?
He will have a very good career at the top level
evanioI only saw the 1st hour but I thought he was bang average. Lalloped about without much energy. Did a fair bit of pointing and easy short sideways and backward passes.
All with a big sulky mush.
I don't think their tactics last night suited Jobe.My response to the OP,i don't think we should have any former player back and, before anybody says Jude,my answer is no to that as well because, unless we become the new Madrid,he will well past his best if he ever comes back.
Nikola ZigicHe's excellent and would be great in this setup.
We can't afford him and there's absolutely no way he'd come back. You may as well try for Haaland.
This basically, you'd be buying a prem ready player, imo - he's still got time to improve as well, but not happening, it's summer I see etc etc blah blah snorre...zzzzz
He can feck off.
Poundshop Luke Harris
TewkesburyBlueIf we threw a load of money at Sunderland in the summer, would you want him back? Not sure he’d want to come back but he’d be a great addition to the squad!
I'd sign him just as soon as I'd sign any of the other hundred or so young lads around the world who are on the cusp of carving themselves out careers as elite level players - notwithstanding the fact we probably can't compete in that market just yet.
I certainly wouldn't be singling out Jobe as the one to sign just cos he used to play for us though. I don't get this obsession with wanting ex-players back.
More bothered about our sell on fee .
15% ??
My understanding is he's going to Stoke. Been seen looking at houses with his agent.
It all helps us in our fiendish plan of World Domination in 2 seasons. Muwhahahaha.

I read 20% but even then that's going to decent when he went for £3m tops.
I thought 15%. I’d seen earlier this week that Dortmund’s MD, Sporting Director & Head Coach flew into have discussions with Jobe’s agents (probably his old man) and £25M mentioned.
I reckon we’ll get about £3M - £3.5M.
I'll defer to the people who know more than me, if 15% nets that 3-3.5m then that's a good bit of business from us really.
£6m ish in total for a lad who played a handful of games and didn't want to be here.
A total of approx £48m for the two Bellingham brothers. Not bad.

Where you getting £48M from man?
I’d say £30M including sell on for Jude and approx £5M for Jobe when he moves.
It is a great return and fair play to Team Bellingham for the way Jude’s exit benefited us, although I’m not a fan of how Jobe’s exit was orchestrated.
Wasn’t Jude 30mil plus the sell on that we got from Madrid of 10% plus the jobe money?
I know that doesn’t add up to 48 but it’s there abouts.

Sorry, 40m, typo.
£25m Jude
£9m Jude sell on
£6m Jobe + sell on
