Incredibly handy, especially as one was never gonna play and one left what feels like ages ago.

Will go close to covering nearly all of the fees we will shell out in terms of PSR for the 25/26 season? That’s presuming most will be 4 and 5 year deals.

Is this the same kid who didn't want Bellingham on his shirt because he didn't want to be compared to Jude?

Then signs for Dortmund. Hmmmm

Yeah I got £3.8M initially, before any add ons or further sell ons are realised

Do we 15% off the reported €5m euro adds ons if/when there are achieved too?
17:37, Sun 8 Jun
Yeah I would assume so as it would represent further profit for Sunderland

By my reckoning we’ve got £43m from the pair of them…

£25 for Jude sale
£10m sell on to Madrid
£0.9m as part of Madrid paying dortmund bonus for winning champions league (we get 10%)
£3m Jobe to Sunderland
£4m Sunderland promotion bonus and sell on fee - combined

We get 15% of profit made on the transfer at the time of the deal; thus any add ons achieved will be included as part of the original price we received and any that aren’t achieved won’t be

Not bad at all really!
Wonder if there’s any other clauses in there we’re not aware of. Would imagine the club covers its back on all fronts after Jude’s quick rise

Add it to the summers war chest, that and Romelle fee on the books should give us a big budget to spend.

It's funny how pretty much everywhere he's been to date the majority of fans have been saying that he is overrated, trading on his brother's name, etc. They will probably still be saying it when he scores the winner for England in a World Cup final.

He had a better season this year than Jude did for us the summer he moved to dortmund. Albeit Jobe is a year older.

Massive step up to that next level - best of luck to the kid.

Okay I’m gonna pour a bit of water on this cos it’s needed.

Take this year in isolation, yes we can.

However it doesn’t work like that. We broke even ish with amortisation last year but that means we have another year of that amortisation to pay this year. It’ll be the same the next year too, etc

I think we can spend but let’s not go overboard with our expectations.

Doesn’t help when you’ve got the owner telling everyone we’re up there with parachute teams in terms of revenue and plans are promotion.

Maybe that little bit of water was needed because I’m seeing people saying top 2 seems to be the plan for the club.

Realistically what do you think there is to spend? Rough ball park figure?

Smart to move from Sunderland though, chasing the ball in a team at the bottom of the league for a year would have been crap for his development

Spot on - really clever move.

They are both just killing time until the day comes when our midfielders are the Bellingham brothers at the City of Birmingham Stadium.
