I ask because last week I seen tom in a picture looking at some model of the whole build

It wasn't a model, it was a sports quarter for ants

It’s needs to be atleast 3 times bigger

We think that model was just a complete mock up of a very general guess at what the SQ will look like, purely to give our Rache summat to look and point at for the cameras. Probably in the bins at the back of the main stand if you want a better look.

It also included development on some parts of the land that we don't yet own.

Tom has said it will be a unique design not seen anywhere before. So I take that to mean there will be just one end with one seat on each row and 62000 rows.

How can there be a stadium design before the architects have been selected 😂?

I was under the impression that the architects for the stadium had been in place for quite a while. I believe what Tom was referring to was the architects for the Sports Quarter as a whole.

Designing a stadium and designing a small town are two very different specialties!

Think it would be unlikely that a stadium design would be drawn up before an outline plan (at least) for the site within which it sits.

You was under the wrong impression.

Nick Smith is doing a presentation but it doesn’t look anything more than a bit of extra flesh on the bones?

From what I can gather this is pretty much it. I don't think he will be able to go much further than what's already in the public domain.

Also, this is an industry and networking event, it's not something Blues have put on to make announcements.

What I do know, though, is that prep, planning and actioning for the whole sports quarter project has been going on for more than a year and the amount of people involved already in various aspects is huge.

Somebody do the maths on how high the stadium would be for 62k single file seats.

Where would the away fans be?

In that single file you have to add the private boxes, bogs, refreshments, bars etc ..... so roughly 142 miles (excluding floodlights)

(i spent exactly 15 seconds working this out so please don't hold me to it)

Which means that when a ‘final design’ is actually presented it’s a fully professional job and takes into account the whole series of issues about access to the site, movement, relationship to other builders within and without the site and so on. It’s something that happens quite late in the process. We might see some ‘concept’ proposals but I think they’d be pretty cautious about that. It’s why a lot of the stuff so far has been generic and modular.

In orbit around the moon?

Very good both

My guess is that it will either be a bit more detail about the key features they want to incorporate into the design & sports quarter itself, Nick Smith did mention they want it to be an open dialogue between the club and fans so people feel as if they have had a say in things so it could be talking about how that might work in practice or it could be nothing to do with the sports quarter and instead it will be a presentation on what the main stand will look like next season with upgrades.

There would definitely be a premium charged for those sitting on the Karman line which is 62 miles above mean sea level where "space" officially begins

Please God no, why would you ask us? Just get a professional to design and build it, the fans will just make the process a million times worse.
