Yeah, no way will we be deciding on design, at most it'll be stuff like "Vote for the players you want to be featured on the new Sports Quarter Mural" and "vote for the name of the new fan park"

Tom also said If I recall correctly that the fans would have a say in the design, so can only assume whoever the architect is will come up with various options and we can have our input on them before they are finalised.
Hopefully not. We ended up with Steve Cotterill after a fan poll

I don’t even want us to choose that. We’ll end up with Fanny McFanface.

Somebody do the maths on how high the stadium would be for 62k single file seats.

Where would the away fans be?
Paddocks

Stick them as far (high) up in the corner as we can. Bit like Sunderland/Newcastle do. Also make sure they can only access their section by climbing stairs. Make the stairs spongy so it exhausts them before they eventually get to their seats. We should also employ a machine that reduces the % of oxygen in that section so they’re all gasping like they’ve got emphysema.

If it was the Ball and Globe Arena we could name one end the Globe End.

Tbf Wagner said at the Open House 15 months ago that we were very close to signing up the architect, so I can see why many would have thought that had already happened

Please God no, why would you ask us? Just get a professional to design and build it, the fans will just make the process a million times worse.

This x 100. We can't even decide on a feckin statue amongst us. Be like giving 30,000 chimps some crayons and asking them to draw the perfect stadium.
Feck no.

The other end would be too close to Viles newly named North Stand - The Bell End..

I ask because last week I seen tom in a picture looking at some model of the whole build

That wasn't a model, it was the scaled down version those Aston fans have been on about!

When I have been thinking what the new ground could look like I did have a crazy idea that the shape of the stadium should be our badge and would look great lit up in blue and white from a birds eye view.

Can you get AI to draw that?

That is what I had thought.
Big stand at each end. Two half moon stands to the centre circle.
Big bridge across the centre circle where the roof meets.
Retractable glass roof, one side with the globe on it, the other the ball.

I'm not sure you could get the shape quite right but if you did it could be fantastic.
The lines would need straightening a bit. Though you could cheat that by having the design overhang the actual stands.

No, and do not call me Al.

Two 15K ends. Each side holds 20,000
Actually in the ground it won't be visible
The Two end roofs will need to be angled with a whole load of stuff on one side behind the stand.
The cross bit in the middle would be more like the arch at Wembley.

In effect a normal ground, but the cladding makes it look like our badge.

"Normal" stadium shape with hotel/ restaurants/ whatever's as the needed bulges around that to create the badge shape.
