I did think that but decided against that reply haha.
The random early opening of the line line is a bit weird, but you’re talking maybe ten minutes maximum? I still don’t class that as shambolic though.
From that point onwards though, if I’ve understood correctly, for whatever reason he’s given up on the phone within ten minutes of the time the line was due to open. Even then, he’s been able to leave his details, which is the same result as what he was asking them to do initially anyway.
I understand people have to work etc but, either way, it was clear today was the day they were going to start/deal with the relocation process. To think you’d have your relocation sorted within ten minutes is, with respect, naive.
So what do we reckon for tickets available to those on the 14,000 strong waiting list?
Do we know how many renenewed? 16,000 for a complete guess
Do we know how many they are likely to sell in total? 22,000 total guess
How many on the waiting list are duplicates/not going to buy when asked to actually stump up the £500? 50% absolute guess
So my reckoning 6,000 chances in 7,000. 85% chance. Seen worse odds.
Anyone able to add any solidity to any of those numbers.
I think there'll only around 3000 up for grabs. KH will want a decent chunk available for single game (more expensive) purchases.
Get the logic but if we are 14th in November we will be lucky to get 24k in the ground

That would likely be the case whether they were season ticket holders or not tbf.
I think that's very optimistic, more will have renewed, far fewer will be for sale and your chances will be drastically lower than that
If it's been weighted in favour of those who go a lot, then those people will be more likely to take up the option also
True but monies in the clubs pocket
I suspect though we will be flying so all good

Not a chance 2,300 won’t have renewed, I think it'll be 700-800 max.
On the back of such a memorable season and with the knowledge that season tickets are like gold dust for the next five years or so, then absolutely no way have 12.5 per cent of season ticket holders not renewed. Surely?

just a hunch but i reckon we might be surprised at just how many people havent worked that out yet when renewal numbers are announced

97% had renewed by Monday last week.

I forecast 17.9k last week (98%). It’s essentially last chance to secure a seat until we leave St Andrews isn’t it?
You’d think TE will be in operation most games for those who won’t be able to attend majority too..
Redditch BluewfbluesA bit of a shambles. I phoned at 9.45 in the hope of getting in the queue early and couldn't connect. I then phoned at 9.55 and was 64th in the queue. Waited 15 minutes and dropped to 62 in the queue. Have left details for a call back but not hopeful.
Surely there has got to be a better system than this.
I’m struggling to understand what’s shambolic about that?
I'm also struggling to understand what's shambolic about having to phone up or queue up in person for a long period of time because there aren't enough staff to cope, just so that member of staff can click a few buttons on the computerised stadium seat map and - in the really complicated instances - refund the price difference or charge an extra fee.
I mean if only there was an easy way to enable people to self-serve, maybe using their computers at home.
Somebody should definitely look into this, they might make a few quid.

Not being able to relocate online in 2025 is pretty shambolic TBF.
My Walsall mate has just told me they've been able to do it online for years.
At last someone agrees with me. Thank you.
