Do you think we get anyone today or wait another 6 days for the next window to open lol
12:18, Tue 10 Jun
No rush. Happy to wait for the club to get their targets rather than rush for scraps

If Rotherham have signed anyone then I will be fuming if we dont have at least 3 waving a scarf on the kop.

On the other hand for the first time in many years I now how complete faith in those at the cub doing the right thing at the right time.
Turn left when you get on a plane.
Doesn't really change anything for us.

No need to rush, got until end of August to sort deals out
13:31, Tue 10 Jun
Nothing will get sorted until the internationals are out the way

Also most players will be on their holidays.

Pretty meaningless to us, only really an important window for those clubs in the Club World Cup who want players for that, and for those who need to sell for PSR reasons (24/25) before 1st July.

Wolves extended their accounting year and have sold 2 players, so presumably they needed that.

Due to their lack of activity to date I'm gonna assume that Vile will be going down the route of selling their Women's team to themselves for £100M+ to prevent any PSR breach for 24/25, rather than selling a few key players, but we'll see, still time to sell beyond this mini window.

Sorry for being thick le mod but how can they sell the women's team to themselves when they're already the owners??
And I presume 100 million was tongue in cheek hopefully

Chelsea "made" nearly £200m selling their one to their parent company.

Loopholes eh....
What a frigging joke.
200 million for a women's team🤔

No, not tongue in cheek sadly, they’ll be able justify the value based on the potential of the women’s game, just like Chelsea did, PSR is completely broken, though the clubs had the chance to close this loophole but chose not too, presumably because it’s a fail safe for them in the future.

They can sell it to themselves by selling it to another company owned by themselves, it’s just a paper transaction.

I thought I read somewhere they’re stopping this?

The games gone

I heard on the Athletic the other day that Man Utd play a clever game with there accounts and most of the losses being owned by a company in New York and lots of the profits being owned by a company in London. I didn't really understand how it worked but it seemed to be a legitimate form of book cooking.
