Los AzulesI thought I read somewhere they’re stopping this?
They were looking at it. I think it failed because enough clubs figured it was too late to stop Chelsea but might be useful as a back up option for them at some point.

Sadly not, didn’t even get as far as going to a vote, let alone enough voting against it
Le ModPretty meaningless to us, only really an important window for those clubs in the Club World Cup who want players for that, and for those who need to sell for PSR reasons (24/25) before 1st July.
Wolves extended their accounting year and have sold 2 players, so presumably they needed that.
Due to their lack of activity to date I'm gonna assume that Vile will be going down the route of selling their Women's team to themselves for £100M+ to prevent any PSR breach for 24/25, rather than selling a few key players, but we'll see, still time to sell beyond this mini window.
A lot of the viles transfers have been on credit terms which, while not unusual in the Premier League, means Villa owe more than £150m in previous purchases. Champions League qualification would have helped the club deal with the cash requirements in respect of some of these former player purchases.
Villa have only managed to break even once in the past 15 years, and that was solely because of the sale of Jack Grealish. Former owners Randy Lerner and Tony Xia both walked away from the club having lost over £100m.
Europa league teams dont make a club money until they get to the semis.
They are in deep shite but like many of the cheating clubs they know full well what they are doing.
BTW..
The vile have made the second highest losses in Premier League history (£678m) - only exceeded by Chelsea (£1.257bn) but I’m sure you know that.
I personally hope they get punished.
Yeah they owe loads in future fees but sadly this has no impact on PSR, just cash flow, presumably NSWE will do another share issue like they do every year and inject a load of money to cover their substantial losses.

Good points 👍
Have you had a gander on the www.sportspro.com
site ?
I find it very interesting in respect to PSR for the premiership and who’s trying the hardest to bankrupt there own club
No not seen it mate, tbf the Vile owners just do a share issue each year, there’s no debt owed by the club to the parent company, zero chance of bankruptcy unless Sawiris and Edens were suddenly somehow unable to fund them. Can’t imagine they’ll wanna pony up for these losses forever though.
Seems they have missed out on Sverre Nypan due to not getting Champions League 😂
Their footballing progress is far outpacing their current commercial capabilities. The former is to their credit, but the latter is slowing down the overall objective of establishing themselves as a CL club on an ongoing basis.
We’re miles away from them atm, but the building bricks of addressing the commercial side first will be laid soon.

I hear what your saying but I don’t agree with your former “ progress to their credit”
Imo they progressed further than what they should have because they over spent and furthermore get a bigger financial reward based on final position. Well That’s nothing short of dishonesty, fraud and mugging off all those who stuck to the rules. With that in mind I believe only 12 premier teams did ( stick to the rules )
