One of the funniest was the Kanu chant, well it amused me.

Followed by id rather have a wallet than a purse.

No definitely down the Blues, 1960. If you saw him do it at Chelsea he must have done it twice which would be even funnier.

Oops I meant I saw Hasselbaink do it, not anyone else.
Not in 1960 either. I'd have been -12.
Didn't mean to confuse things.

I saw Bertie put the both out but what was funnier was when he tried the same on Ron Yeats and only reached his chest and still got sent off. Bertie was a laugh in almost all of his games.
I remember him in one of the Inter Cities games trying to get he linesman to take a quick corner to him and the linesman, a foreign geezer, looking totally bemused while all around were laughing their socks off.

Mine is mick mcarthy getting so much stick from the paddock he asked the stewards to sit in the crowd with the noisy bunch, the chants changed too “ooo it’s a corner” “birmingham birmingham rar rar” etc even mick eventually turned round laughing,
One of the culprits was tony who runs the coaches

Another vote for the ladder on the top.

Wigan in the Cup if I remember rightly

Bertschin & Trevor braces. About 79. Stand to be corrected

I remember might of been about 2003 think we were playing Chelsea. I used to sit the next seat on the no man's land and a few Chelsea fans were giving it loads. Only for 1 of them fall on the strip and roll all the way down to the bottom. Ground went mad. I might be wrong about team and year.

The Blues board was so impressed with their Wigan counterparts that, at the end of the season's re-election vote, Blues rallied the other Midlands teams around to support Wigan's application, and they were duly elected to replace Southport. It was the only time a northern club was elected to Division 4.

Jeromes goal is hilarious in this. I've never seen another keeper do that.
Probably for good reason.
I've a lot of time for Lee Carsley's cha!lenge as well.

Couldn't fully appreciate the goal on the night as I was in the Tilton and couldn't see hiw hilariously bad it was.

Not the funniest thing by any means but worth a mention, I suppose.
Half time during a game 2017/18, when they used to have the 'shooting competition' where fans would be called onto the pitch to try to win match tickets by taking shots into the goal from various distances.

Craig Gardner was one of the subs out on the pitch doing a few warm ups and one of the chosen fans went up to him and asked if he could borrow Craig's boots for his turn at shooting. Craig duly obliged and the fan skied every one of his shots into the Tilton.
Well I thought it was funny; don't think many others even noticed tbh.

One boring match, 6 or 7 kids aged about 8 or under were playing up & pretend fighting in corner of a half empty Tilton.

This caught the attention of most on the Kop & was more entertaining than the match.

Soon a huge mob of big lads had moved across to form a no man's land & join in the pretend fighting & pointing etc.

The young kids would run at the Mob who turned & ran across the Tilton running away.

It was hillerious & even funnier when old bill had to enter & stop it.

I've not seen that since it happened but that Carsley tackle was horrendous. Nearly took the bloke knee off and the commentators were suprised it was a red!
