harkenSame here and it seems to have turned into a squabble about Scottish clubs.
Irrelevant Scottish clubs.

Where are we on the mayor chips moisture scale for the following
Kyogo
Fujimoto
Doyle
Beadle
Falstaff110sausagesJeff HallCeltic and Rangers are massive clubs. Bigger than 9-10 of the premier league clubs from this season.
That being said they don’t understand the size of some English clubs in the second tier and how hard they would push them in the SPL.
Massive???? In Scotland yes. And that's where it ends
I think it’s an error to say that they aren’t massive clubs on the basis that every other team in their league is comparatively small. Historically, both would have been competitive in the Premier League, and I believe that Celtic still would be.
Their worldwide fan base is probably in the top dozen or so most supported clubs.
Their overseas fan bases are made up almost entirely by expatriate Scots.
They most certainly do not have the global pull of Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Barcelona, inter Milan etc;

Kyogo - strong links from Japan, we are waiting and hoping
Fujimoto - injured and not happening, apparently
Doyle - Just a link at this point, but legitimate
Beadle - I’m guessing that’s done and will just be announced after the Euros
Mayor may unzip and unload all over this, potentially

Yeah looks like Fujimoto might be off to Turkey. Shame really as I like the look of him. We need a player like that. A technical 8 midfielder.
I'm sure we will sign someone in that mold.

Do you think your scars will ever heal?

Even if we get none of them it’s good to see the kind of market we are shopping in. Going to be some very good signings coming our way.

Celtic aren't even in the top 100 globally for social media following, which is an imperfect but good proxy for worldwide support
TCKROCould be the reason why we are being linked with Doyle
Not sure Doyle is the same profile of player. Doyle seems of an all action type, similar to Paik. Fujimoto is that little bit more of a 8 / 10 type. They arent ten a penny unfortunately. Hes more of a Maddison, O'Hare, Crowley.

Kyogo is exciting
I'm not fussed about Fujimoto. Wasn't convinced he was playing at a decent enough level and to be honest I'd prefer a different type of number 10.
Doyle would be a superb signing.

But they are well in the top 20 worldwide for actual fans in their stadium. The only reason they're down on that list is because a few of the top prem side have expanded their stadiums. Arsenal, Spurs, West ham and Liverpool come to mind. They have 54,000 season ticket holders and need to expand Celtic park because at 60,000 it's to small. You have to pay to be on the season ticket waiting list and there are 17,000 on that list. They are a massive club and if they had the capacity would be 3rd or 4th on that worldwide list.
To think they're not a massive club really is a bit daft.
I was just getting back into this thread and you’ve done this 🫤
