ThongsSo bench our top scorer for his own good?
Brilliant
For players of better quality. No brainer
I actually do partly agree, granted he did a great job on the goal scoring front. I do think someone like Furuhashi could be the equivalent for us in the championship to Stansfield. Every year things will get more and more competitive for all of our players

It really isn’t a no brainer to me. We’ve paid £15m for a 22 year old who scored 13 goals in the championship a season ago. He scored 24 goals last season. Why would we want to bench him?
Wisemanblue123Stanno, Furuhashi and Gray as a front 3 is a frightening thought in the championship. I know they haven’t happened and it’s completely based on their previous success but aside from the teams that have gone down, is there many better than that 3?
The first two yes. I can get excited for Gray though. His stats don't read that well and I think if you take out the "romantic" element of the returning son I don't think anyone would be excited either?
I'd rather we invested in some future talent.
There will be players of better "quality" than Stansfield at the club next season but the lads got the knack ,the touch ,the instinct ,knows where the net is--all that stuff its priceless PLUS he can press all day . Even Kevin Phillips couldnt do that .
Criminal to have him on the bench no matter who we buy
Stanno will raise his game. He’s a kid. 20 goals this season.
Playing for England u21's will do him no harm either
I think Stanno will prefer to not have as much pressure on his shoulders of being the main figure to get us goals. If I remember correctly, didn’t he say earlier in the season he was struggling with the pressure from opposition fans always giving him stick.

some kid appeared to make up some DMs with JJ about Kyogo having a medical
The most disappointing thing is it wasn't a kid. It was a fully grown bloke making it up.
Very odd behaviour.
Think I'm keeping up. Let me know if I've missed any genuine links:
