Ron Wylie (pen) v Blackpool 3 Feb 1968 in a 2-1 loss
First Blues goal I saw was scored by Kevin Dillon vs. Bristol Rovers on 4 September 1979. We drew 1-1 in front of 15,330
A great centre forward in my book. He went by the name of Fred Pickering and it was in a 2-2 draw against Portsmouth on 14th October 1967.
Never quite kicked the bug from that day going forward and have loved the Blues ever since.
My passion was severely tested at Maine Road in that infamous semi -final though.
No need to apologise > I enjoy a little joust now and then
Trevor Hockey, unfortunately it was in the wrong end.

That was the game where Blues keeper Terry Twell was beaten by a lob from just inside the halfway line for Portsmouth’s second goal if I remember correctly….
First Blues goal I saw was Alan Curbishley. Lost 4-1 to Stoke!

Although the first Blues player you'd have seen score was Phil Hawker as he smashed in a cracking own goal from outside the box in that game. We were 0-4 down at half time!
Ricky Sbragia at the Tilton End. His only ever goal for us as he put us 1-0 up shortly after half time against Manchester City in April 1978.
We lost 1-4.
Wish I remembered. All I remember from my first game is throwing the ball back to Stan Lazaridis haha
TBF you made Thongs laugh so you’re at least 5 nil up on me 😂
Stern John, blues vs Crewe Alexandra in 2002, we won 3-1
