SquatnoseKenny KendrickFirst Blues goal I saw was Alan Curbishley. Lost 4-1 to Stoke!
Although the first Blues player you'd have seen score was Phil Hawker as he smashed in a cracking own goal from outside the box in that game. We were 0-4 down at half time!
Yeah, can't remember much about the match though! Took about 5 matches to see us win.

Great question, not a clue. Might have been the game when Kenny Burns won the TR7, so I'll say him even though someone else might have scored first that day, but I'm sure I went the season before that, just can't remember.
Steve Lynex V Charlton sept 1979.
I recall the ball falling at his feet around the pen spot and him sweeping it past the keeper unchallenged but the mind plays tricks it was probably nothing like what I've just described.
My other recollection (which might also be wrong) is my Dad - who hadn't been for a good few years - didn't realise segregation had been bought in, and ignored the "away fans only" signs at the Tilton turnstiles hence we spent the afternoon in the away end...
Bertie Auld scored the first goal that I saw, as far as I can remember. In truth, it’s likely that someone else may have scored the first goal I saw, but I can only really remember Bertie Aulds name from my first few years of going to St Andrews. Bearing in mind I was about eight when I was first taken there by my dad, and that was in 1962.
Ian Rush what would he be worth nowadays absolute finisher

There’s the stats for that game what a mismatch!
Ian Handysides testimonial was my first game against U it’s which I believe we lost 5-2 or 5-3 but don’t know who scored.
Steve Bull apparently played for us

I went as a very young kid and it all rolls into one so no idea. I went to Ayresome Park as a baby as I said the other day but don’t know if we scored. I remember seeing the players who played second division before our first relegation and I remember Whitton and Wigley scoring. I know I was at Villa home and away 86/87 but only remember the policeman who took me and my brother out so we didn’t see the trouble.
So I would imagine a lot of the answers here are misremembered.
NouCampNo idea
Probably Nigel Gleghorn
Nah yours was Simon Sturridge.
Was that the one where he tossed Anthony Gardner about like a ragdoll?
