RasputinGray didn’t play in the Europa season. That was RedmondWhich specific predictions do you refer to?
The only one I think I've said anything about the last year or so is Dykes, as I knew bugger all about most of the players we brought in last year.
Gray has been gone a decade, he won't be anything like the player we remember in the Europa season.
if it's a free transfer on cheap wages then who cares, but a transfer fee and big wages makes the deal too big a gamble to me.
I'm always glad that my shadow is here to point out when I'm wrong.
It's still 10 years ago. His stats from two years in a farmers league suggest it isn't worth a significant financial outlay though.
RasputinWhat a ridiculously strange post. Shadow?I'm always glad that my shadow is here to point out when I'm wrong.

You posted something completely wrong. I pointed out why. But rather than own up you insinuate something.
I haven’t even commented whether Gray is a good signing or not. But calling the Saudi league a farmers league is daft considering we’ve celebrated the season we had in league one
The dimmi gray I saw at Everton was to track back constantly. It was a non -negotiable under Sean Dyche.
Enjoyed some of the replies, like this one….. Go, old man. May God make you happy, Mishaal, for this news.
I swear I was worried about how we would play next season with this idiot
That Rugby voiced dinosaur is apparently off to Leicester.
Like a points deduction ain’t enough.

Gray did leave 6 months after Dyche signed, after they fell out badly...
WaggehIf the deal gets done it’s a fantastic signing and anyone turning their nose up needs to wobble their heads. He’s 28 not 33 with his best years gone andI've gone back and forth on it and was originally against the idea. But he's still a good age and a couple of years ago he was a star player for Everton.
This could be a very good signing, I'm happy to trust the clubs judgement.
The fee, if true is higher than I would have liked though.
it’s not a misty eyed nostalgia signing.
Pull this one off and it’s a massive statement.
AmyT-FEATed Tin-man McminnFingers crossed. All those who are turning their noses up at this are living on another planet.
Gray is exactly what we need and what we lacked last season. Genuine pace and running power, great ball carrier and a real threat in a one on one.
He has genuine Premier League quality and experience, He’s also in his prime age wise. He would be a fantastic addition and every single club in the Championship would rip your arm off for him.
My concern is he doesn't seem to fit the Daviesball model of a player that can contribute effectively to an intense high press and tracking back when a mistake is made to forcibly ensure we retrieve the ball.
We've seen Demarai Gray before, and both what we've seen of him and his career since us, says that isn't his game at all.
He pressed and tracked back reasonably well with us.
I’m okay with it but I take exception to ‘the club he loves’ comment earlier in the thread. It was the club he held to ransom for a minuscule release fee in his contract.
Pull this one off and it’s a massive statement.
If this is what the club considers to be a statement signing then we're all going to have to adjust our expectations for next season.
I’m indifferent about Jobe. We annoying but it happened. It’s quite nice saying we made him. If they play one another in the quarters I guarantee we get mentioned about 46000 times.
Edit: I also didn’t think Jobe was shit like others did.
