I agree with this. We’ll still have PSR to deal with, as ambitious as we are I can’t see us making the same mistake as before and gambling it all away in one window.

Probably see a right winger, attacking mid centre back and possibly left back then I reckon we’re done. Unless a deal to good to turn down comes our way

Yep. Then get to Jan. They will then assess the situation and get what we need to try and achieve promotion.

I’m late to the party but regarding Stanno l can’t see a place for him other than as a number 10.

Kyogo has to be the 9 based on his goals for Celtic from 6-10 yards, where he found the space behind or across his defender, and has to be fed by Gray and BOS from wide.

I don’t see Stanno as a natural winger to get the best out of Kyogo.

I hope you are right as I want him to play a big part. Problem is, don’t think he’s a good enough passer or dribbler for the 10. Not to mention his first touch, has to be bang on when you’ve got a holding midfielder right up your arse and not sure he’s got it.

I’d be so so disappointed if we got all these attackers and played Stansfield in the 10. It won’t happen he hasn’t got the attributes like you say.

I could see him on the right sometimes basically playing as another forward with the full back offering the width. The good thing we have now is an embarrassment of riches in the attacking positions so I would imagine we’ll see a lot rotation in positions

Davies has spoken about having to play certain players too much, and wanting more squad depth in his latest interview. They'll be more squad rotation this year i expect with players being rested, started , starting off the bench .

Personally think we should play each player in their best position, that will mean that often we have 2-3 unbelievable players on the bench but so be it. We will have some ridiculous talent coming off the bench.

Let’s sign another keeper while we’re at it.

I think we would if there was a better one became available, wouldn't rule anything out

I probably only see Gray and Kyogo playing in their preferred positions. Stansfield could end up doing jobs on the wing and attacking mid like he did for England U21’s. He’ll still get good numbers though I imagine

There’s your answer mate, Kyogo! 😍

If we drop money on a right winger of similar quality and have an attack of Gray, Kyogo and a similar quality right winger it’s going to be an enjoyable season.

No, exactly. You want Gray or Kesh on the left like proper wide men so as Stanno can technically play all 4 attacking roles, that only means number 9 which I’ve argued he can’t play and would be backup or on the right.

On the right would make the most sense.

It would make the most sense right now, until we sign someone of similar quality to Gray and Kyogo. Will be a good year for Stansfield to learn a lot from better quality players and not have all the pressure of being the main man.

I would have preferred/would prefer an inverted left footed right winger with the full back offering the width, slightly gutted we didn’t get Poku ah well, but yeah agreed Stanno could play it or a right forward in more of a 433
