If we drop money on a right winger of similar quality and have an attack of Gray, Kyogo and a similar quality right winger it’s going to be an enjoyable season.

Oh absolutely. Or a number 10 of a similar standard. Personally think Thor may come good though so personally would go for a right winger. Perhaps someone who’s an asssist machine.

I still think we need a no.9 in the Kieffer Moore type mould

Kyogo sounds very similar to Stansfield

Jay is going to learn a hell of lot from Kyogo which should excite us just as much as Kyogo signing.

Jay can finish, there's no doubt about that, but it's very obvious that he's a student of the game and is still developing - especially his movement and timings - especially when playing in the number 9

He now has a top, top number 9 with him day in day out to learn from

This is exactly what my discussion on this thread was about and why I replied to it today.

I wanted someone better then Jay, for him to learn from. It seems the areas in which Jay is weak like his movement and instinct, Kyogo is ace.

He’s nowhere near as good at it but Dykes is our man to do this.

You can’t possibly expect another striker to come in when either Lyndon Dykes or Alfie May will be our 4th choice striker this year. Absolutely ridiculous depth.

Or just play him at number 10 brings another goal scoring option

I wouldn't rule out another - the club mean serious business, if they can improve the squad they will.
Possibly a younger development player to replace May or Dykes - like Kone.

You do have to try and keep a squad happy and having another striker on the books who wouldn’t feature much would be creating a problem.

I know it’s more of a squad game nowadays but there is a point when you have to consider player morale.

Utter nonsense.

We don’t have an endless pit of money. Our right wing and attacking midfield options are light, we will go big there but really can’t see us signing another striker unless someone leaves.

Let’s sign another keeper while we’re at it.
