Perhaps you could elucidate as to what the "traditional Turkish Barber services" might actually be .Interrogationg some of the foregoing posts it might appear that they might lack a soupcon of legality

Ill call in rascist in the absence of any evidence to substantiate any of these claims.

I also don't recall a similar thread about white collar crimes like insider trading, price rigging or the multitude of frauds committed by white people.

Tbf there’s been a couple of articles linked suggesting there’s a bit of a problem with SOME of the shops

How the feck would the average joe have a clue about insider trading 😄 what are these multiple whitey frauds you talk of.

So do you think the Tate brothers are victims or fraudsters?
10:17, Sat 5 Jul
Tony do you honestly think there’s never been a thread on here condemning the taits and other scum of that ilk?

Come on now, it’s ok to criticise everyone

The average Joe doesn’t have a clue about money laundering either but mention barbers or vape shops and the accusations of it fly around almost immediately, as is evident on this thread.

Lame whataboutery. You've just posted the left wing equivalent of the "What about Lee Rigby!" argument. I'm way more left wing than right, but I hate it when left leaning people don't debate, and just fling the race card. Just as much as I hate the lame and lazy arguments from the right. Be better!

Probably because it’s seemingly to many the most blatant and likely to be happening within a mile of their homes, it’s more in your face than insider training

It’s all very shit but it’s easy to see why people are more aware of dodgy bob shops than insider trading and the like

Let’s go for it then. Probably some are, obviously some dodgy other stuff as well, but it’s not a newsflash and it’s been wheeled out (not debated) on here on numerous occasions.

My wife gets her nails done at a nail bar which seems legit though yeah, there’s lots of nail demand these days. My hair was last cut by an Iranian and he did an excellent job and that seemed reasonably legit as there were others waiting. I don’t smoke so didn’t ask for any fags though. We had the dog’s hair cut at a dodgy looking pet shop which doesn’t seem to be open that much mind.

Forgive me if I’m wrong but I suspect when people smoked (as maybe some did in the past on here and maybe still do) they were perfectly happy to buy fags at cut price rates and as someone has said, I mean it’s hardly a crime to use illegal things to watch programmes that would normally cost on your tele for nothing.

The High Street is generally up sh&t creek except for those which are en in areas where people are prepared to pay a minimum four quid for a loaf of bread. The solution round our way is mostly to have take aways (how much pizza can this nation eat?) most of the containers of which seem to end up in our front garden.

Not like it used to be in the olden days before the supermarkets put all the little shops out of business.

That’s because they drive and walk past these places everyday and see the amount and how busy they aren’t. It’s not a conspiracy theory.
