No but I'd add him to the loaned out list, I forgot about him.

I actually hope I'm wrong about releasing Buchanan and Wright, it'd be bordering on heartless. I'm just very aware we're a much more ruthless club than we used to be

It makes no sense to release Buchanan we would have to pay his contract up and he showed in the 3 games last year after a long lay off he’s decent.

Think we have enough cover at left back until he’s fit.

I’d keep Leonard as well we were fortunate with injuries and suspensions in Midfield lastr and I like him. We need four good on the ball players the way Davies plays not sure an athletic midfield player is the priority at the moment.

If Sanderson goes a left sided centre back is needed maybe a loan who can cover other positions.

I’d be reasonably comfortable to go into the season with what we have.

Chang, Longello BPF Robert’s will obviously go out. Hall has already gone

Loaned out :-
Dykes, Leonard, Roberts, Hall, Willumsson, Hansson & Sampsted
Then all sold from Jan 2026 depending on length of contracts

Solid subs:-
Bielik, Keshi & May
Are all good bench options and cup games even as it stands but most definitely should we have anymore arrivals.

Injured crocks list:-
Buchanan ( should get a chance once fit)
Wright ( loaned out in Jan once fit & then sold)

Feel sorry for Keshi & May but that’s success for ya im afraid.

2 he was largely ineffective last year.

If we see Dykes next season it will be because we have an injury crisis

We need the option though, if a team does a full pitch press on us we need the option of going over them and into someone who can look after it, even Man City do that. It was a weakness of ours last season where sometimes we couldn’t get out due to a lack of pace and mobility, though BOS and Gray will help.

I agree, we should keep Dykes unless we get a Dykes upgrade in - ie a big lad like him, but with real pace. If that does happen then yeah, loan him out, there'll be plenty of takers for him.

Way too many people forgetting that the Championship is a squad division. We need a squad.

We were 3 points off the playoffs going into the world cup in 22/23. Injuries and lack of squad depth ruined it.

Also Dykes and Jukey ended up getting used a lot last season. May will be the equiv this season.

Leithblues

I genuinely think everyone is for sale at the right price. I trust the recruitment and trust we'd be able to replace anyone who leaves with better.

Anyone who wasn't a starter last season I think will be allowed to leave.

The likes of Willumsson, May, Bielik, Allsop, Keshi probably need to accept being more of a bench/squad player. I can see Laird and Cochrane being squad players too - I think we'll sign a top tier left back

I think we'll keep TGH as a utility player too
