We need to bring back the banging on the metal at the back of the stand whilst shouting BLUES.

We used to be good at corners when we did this and now we've stopped we're shit.

I'll do Jonathan Grounds' job for him.

Too many plastic knighthead fans who don’t want to damage their manicured nails.

Much preferred it when half the stand was shut and people weren’t afraid to bruise their hands.

I've seen many comments and tweets about Grounds being the set piece coach but I don't think this is true.

Can anyone show me anything confirming he is soley responsible?

The link below states it's the analyst Dan Poxon, as well as Petty and Grounds. Granted it was pre-season but I haven't seen anything which confirms set-pieces are solely the remit of Grounds.

"...Poxon liaises with Jonathan Grounds and Ben Petty focus on set-pieces and other aspects of training.

...Dan will work with Jonathan and Ben doing the set-pieces."

Just score a goal rather than letting the keeper/defender block it for a corner. Seems the easiest way to improve them

Just get somebody to run across the front post and another to cover the back would be the obvious thing with the amount of times the fecking ball goes there.

When Cole left I thought they said Grounds was taking over that role.

Blues released ‘a day in the life of..’ video recently following Ben petty. It was filmed building up to the Swansea game and showed Petty coaching the set pieces.

The delivery has been awful up to Tuesday. But Doyles corners are dangerous. We just need targets like Neumann and Klarer to attack the ball.

I think they did. What I find strange is that neither Cole or Grounds were known for their set pieces in their playing careers. What qualified either of them to be a set piece coach? Ashley Cole was the best left back in the world at one point but not known for set pieces?

Let's just get Jaidi back to wave his arms in front of the keeper

I like the England routine where they do ring a ring of roses on the edge of the box and then sprint into different directions in the box. Give each player a designated area to run into and then practice crossing to the 5 different target positions

Stick it in the mixer and head the bastard in.

Tell Groundsy he can have that one.

One of the few good things about the Block 39 lads is the
