Good luck Tatts but I hope he’s not going to play on that cow patch in Alvechurch. It has to be one of the worst pitches at that level.
It’s absolutely shocking, proper Sunday league level. And the way Tim Flowers has them playing is…agricultural to say the least. They just had a kid from Forest Green on loan and he was the best striker I’ve seen down there in years, so hopefully Frank can come in and bang the goals. They’ve had a few loans from Blues U21s over the last couple of years and none have really stood out - but it’s more about playing men’s football I guess
I watched the blues under 18’s friendly play there a couple of seasons ago and was shocked to see how bad it was.
Alvechurch is a great club with some good people behind the scenes but I would be reluctant to send any blues academy player there unless it’s a Gk.
He should've gone to Halesowen Town (same division).
Their pitch is like a billiard table, and beautiful condition.
Halesowen play Alvechurch on November 18th, and as it's international weekend get down there and have a look at young Tatts.
Even Redditch would’ve been good they’ve just relaid a 3G pitch.
Plus Warmington is there on loan so he’d have company from the blues academy.
Birmingham City FC
Church had a lad on loan from Forest Green recently. He scored about 8 in a month and got recalled to be part of their first-team. Which is all to say, they are a great place to send youngsters (especially strikers it seems), so fingers crossed for young Frank.
I think they’re doing well this season and I’d wager they’ll finish above church.
Over the season and you have a bet. Their first head to head comes on 20th October at the Valley stadium.
