Does anyone know anything further about the Alvechurch move to the Hayes? My brother suggested recently that it looks like it's finally going to happen, he could be wrong though and often is.
They have an outline planning application for housing on their current site going to committee this month at some point, I think. It was recommended for approval by the planning officer, so should be a tick box now to get it through.
From there on, who knows, but it's finally progressing at least

Church had a lad on loan from Forest Green recently. He scored about 8 in a month and got recalled to be part of their first-team. Which is all to say, they are a great place to send youngsters (especially strikers it seems), so fingers crossed for young Frank.
Yes it was Jose Marquez, lives in Frampton on Severn. He would always be kicking a ball about on the cricket pitch outside the pub.
His elder brother played for the village team. Dad Spanish mum English.

You've evidently never experienced the Bromsgrove planning committee...
I don’t understand why Bromsgrove and Alvechurch don’t share a ground. It would make so much more sense.
Not against the move to Kings Norton but something tells me it could go tits up and they would be left with nowhere to go.

Haha, my previous role was for a house builder looking to develop green belt land in Bromsgrove so I'm very familiar, I should have known better...
That said they've waited so long to get to this stage that you have to hope they are close.
Straight in from the start against Kettering. It’s farking freezing and the pitch is a joke.
Young Frank could have had 2, should definitely have had 1, but his movement is different class to what you normally see at this level
He could be the step 3 Kyogo
2-0 Church
Last minute pen and then a breakaway from a corner with the Kettering keeper up the pitch
Decent end to a drab game. Tattum got hooked with about 20 to go - looked a bit tired to me in the second half but positive signs
It was a very Blues day. Saw Taity, O’Connor, Painter and Tatts (obvs). Really enjoyed it.
Listened to the manager post match interview and he appears to be very happy with the teams performance. They went away to a tough top 5 rival and almost won. The manager certainly believed they deserved to win.
I rate the manager highly at that level hence my confidence on where they’ll finish.
This from the church owner.
Received a call from @RobbieSavage8 saying we should take this lad because he has a bit about him and is lightning quick. At 17yrs old he came on and changed the game. Won the pen and scored the second. Unbelievable cameo from Thomas Conte who has an extremely bright future.
This too...

Delighted with Frank Tattum’s Church debut. Looked a threat all afternoon. The lad will score goals for us. No doubt.

Age-old saying but it is true - was always in there to miss them
Led the line well, hard to believe it was his first senior match (and up against one of the best/most experienced sides in the league)

Played up against a CB with over 300 EFL games. Delighted with his performance.
