I’m with you mate- 100%.
It’s unbelievable that if we were presented with the Allegiant Stadium as our new home people would moan! 🤣
I understand you are never going please everyone with the design but I think we need to take a giant step back and realise just how lucky we are. What they come up with is going to be beyond our wildest dreams. Moving from a dated, small stadium, with a tiny land footprint to a brand new, full tech, 62k seater stadium on a 130 acre site…. Unbelievable.
Some West Ham fan was on TalkSPORT earlier talking about their demonstrations against DS and said he dreamed of a new owner coming in and building them a new stadium- Simon Jordan laughed him off the call, saying they had absolutely no chance and that very few owners in world football go into a club and build a new stadium.
That’s how lucky we are 👍🏼

Absolutely. Totally agree.

Agree - I think that goes for pretty much whatever the design is. We're going to have a 60k+ brand new stadium surrounded by places to eat, drink etc.
But until it is announced, I don't think there is anything wrong with people say they want a copy of the Allegiant Stadium. Even if I think copying a stadium that looks like a giant push button is a bit odd and lacks ambition!
It's important the new ground is well designed and fit for purpose. I think we can trust Knighthead on this.
There is a lot of fantasy ground design going on here.
Whatever design is chosen will have a few critics.
For those of us who grew up with the cowsheds and fences on the Kop (almost) any new ground will be amazing.
I love St Andrews, but I think we could upgrade. No one chooses a second stadium that is uglier than the first.
The lack of a public design and actual building on the site yet is leading to a few jitters.
Everyone who isn't absolutely contrary will get behind the new ground.
At least until we lose 0-3 to Doncaster on the opening day.

I know this image shown at one of the open houses was 'just' an artist impression, but I wonder if the clues were/are there regarding Knightheads stadium design wishes for brickwork, and a nod to the local architectural vernacular? Note, there's a hint to an arch design (circled) incorporated at the base of the stadium.
