BluSabreOut of interest, what are your other favourites in the States?
AT&T is great as well as Atlanta, really well looked after. Sofi is okay. I've not spent any meaningful time in the Allegiant but I imagine it's good. Don't like Miami, Houston, New Jersey much
Guadalajara is probably my favourite all round. Smaller but works well and being football helps.
TresorLuntalaWMCA are holding a meeting on Friday to approve the creation of a Mayoral Development Corporation, which will include the Sports Quarter.
Another step in the right direction, and an interesting read for those into public sector reports:
[governance.wmca.org.uk] for Mayoral Development Corporation Update.pdf
I asked a question on another forum about what this means and was told; "Doesn't need local authority approval for planning permissions. The Mayor can approve it above their heads if it's deemed vital for the region."
Of course we all know there's only one mayor on this forum! ;)
New Browns stadium renders for those who’ve not seen or indeed interested. Think it was posted before.
Think it gives an insight into the retail and leisure elements outside, Gillette has something similar.

On the Gillette Stadium, the Kraft family own all of it and lease out the units onsite and take revenue. They also own the labor company that the retail and hospitality units get all of their staff from. Basically all the money stays in. Money making machine.
I don't like that. It looks like an oversized garden centre.
Yeah not a fan either. Interesting to see them though. I think it looks like a Convention Center.
Le ModI'd love something eye-catching but the only clues we have so far is them saying they wont be going for a space ship design, that it'll have red brick and that it will be somewhat in keeping with some of the traditional Brum architecture, so it seems unlikely unless they've changed their mind.
The old library as a template then.
The association of red brick and some of the thickos that go to St A seems a bit ironic to me.
Roll on next Wednesday. Might be wishful thinking on my part but, given the timeline Nick Smith outlined in his last update. I'm hoping to hear that an architect has been chosen and we will get to see the concept at least. After all this time since the last Open House I cannot see why they would have one now just for the sake of having it.
Nikola ZigicThe red brick concerns me a little.
Wagner mentioned the red brick, Nick Smith didn’t mention red brick but did say we wouldn’t be landing a spaceship. I’m hoping it looks at least a little spaceshippy

It wont please everyone will it.
I have my preferences about how it should look / configuration of stands / safe standing etc but ultimately, it will be 62,500 and by far the biggest ground in the region. We will be on top, where we belong. Thats the main thing.

Yes, it cannot satisfy everyone's opinion of what it should look like but I'll in favour of it because of what it delivers to the club.
Whatever it is it'll be beyond our wildest dreams of 30 months ago
