Jude is getting it from all angles from the fans who have been waiting patiently to stick the boot in.
It does seem odd that Tuchel is feeding the narrative rather than backing him with his comments as well.
And that is off the back of the 'repulsive' comment recently. He might be trying to create a siege mentality in the squad, offering Jude as the scapegoat.
I can’t understand why he keeps getting overlooked.

I think he’s just a prick if I’m honest. He causes issues everywhere he goes and loves to make it ‘tuchel vs the world’ when it’s not even like that. He’d make a great manager for Liverpool with that mentality.
I tried to get a Request a bet the day he was employed that carsley would be in charge for our first World Cup game as I expect him to do something that could annoy the fa and get him sacked super quickly, however they wouldn’t give it me unfortunately.
On an annoying off topic discussion, they also wouldn’t give me a RAB about 10 years ago for Donald trump to serve 3 terms as President despite me explaining how it would be possible, and I’m not saying that’s likely to happen, but it’s a lot more likely than the odds I would have gotten at the time.
WithamBlueNouCampThen where is Adam Warton? Won the FA Cup & Community Shield, now playing in Europe and went 19 games unbeaten until last weekend and he seems to be the exact type of midfielder we need sitting next to Rice yet he can't even get in the squad for a friendlyAlways said England should pick the most in form players, guess that's what hes doing
Tbf, I had Anderson as MOTM last night - he was superb.

He’s fantastic. He was amazing in the under 21s also.
Maybe a controversial opinion here, but one thing I like about FFP is it forces ‘big clubs’ to sell their academy talents to other teams for the sheer boost it gives them in terms of FFP instead of hoarding them on the bench and not giving them time to develop.
Anderson is a prime example of that along with many others, vs the likes of Hudson-Odoi who was in Chelsea purgatory for years, whereas now he’s getting time he’s proving what he can.
Before anyone counters with ‘you shouldn’t have to sell your academy talent’ no you shouldn’t; but If they played these guys instead of spending £60m+ on whoever has had one good year in the bundesliga or serie a they wouldn’t have to. But that’s not the world we live in.
On the other hand it is one hell of a problem, Jude, Foden, Palmer, Eze and others to come into this squad/team.
I know it was only Wales but that Spence had a good game too.
Can’t be having a right footer playing left back, he came inside every single time when he got forward, the only plus is the ball inside the fullback but that’s not often on.

I agree we’ve proved that square pegs in round holes generally don’t work
Docky91In fairness he’s picking things on form in an England shirt as well as club form. Always been the case as well.GBBlueYou can't just pick your team on form alone though because you would be chopping and change every international break. Grealish, Wharton should be in on form. Rogers and Watkins, Lewis-Skelly, Gibbs-White have had poor starts to the season. There has to be an element of continuity
If Jude, Palmer, Saka can't play themselves into form or selection as the season goes on for their clubs then they are not guaranteed even a squad place. But, if fit and performing at a high level they cannot be overlooked for Anderson , Henderson, Gordon , Bowen, Loftus-Cheek.
At what point does ‘form’ get replaced with ‘talent’ because Adam Wharton has been class for around 18 months.
So what we’re saying is no one is guaranteed a place just because they’re a big name, but it’s not based on form, it’s based on who has historically been good so we have some element of continuity?
It’s a none story Jude is one game back from injury if he’d played 6/7 games there is now way he doesn’t get picked ahead of Rogers who has been dross all year.
The fact this article is using Rogers as an example of how Judes not guaranteed a spot if he doesn’t perform makes the whole thing a load of rubbish as he’s probably around 2 more bad games away from getting dropped from the vile.
If we saw the likes of Jaiden Anthony etc in there then it might have some merit.
Tuchel is doing fine. Let him do things his way right now
He is. His teams are moving the ball well and looking like they’re enjoying it
Yep, he's the manager, he'll live or die on these decisions so it's entirely up to him.
Jude will play in the WC. But he does seem to need to learn how to lead with joy.

You mean like Billy Wright?
(One for the oldies)
Jude has a tendency to look for the spotlight and make it all about him. Might get on peoples nerves. Tommy might just be offering a gentle reminder to show a little humility. Sends a message to other big heads too.

I think he has a tendency to do that because quite frankly most of the teams (England included) have forced him to be able to. He even went to one of the biggest clubs in the world and had to go and win multiple games for them in his first season with his late goals.
