I was thinking more about his overt ‘leadership’ attempts. Going round commiserating with more experienced players, that kind of thing. I recall Palmer studiously ignoring him after a loss as he went from player to player consoling them, demonstrating maturity.
No need to be a prick.

I’m being a prick because I offered a counter opinion on a point you didn’t make clear? You understand what a forum is right.
As it turns out, I think the point you’re actually trying to make is equally ridiculous. He’s showing he cares about the team etc, honestly these young players can’t win, damned if they do, damned if they don’t.
Fat Buddha OBEHe ain't gonna shag you, mate
Realised you made a ridiculous post and now go to jokes, how mature.
Slagging off a guy who got us to the final in the last tournament by doing exactly what you don’t want him to do.

The reasonable point being make is no one died and made him king just yet. He's a mighty prince for sure, but he's trying to wear the crown a bit too early. The commiserating etc has a smack of his many years being the Bogs Dollocks in his U15s team, etc.
He's a wonderful footballer, but needs to wind his neck in just a little bit. At least got appearances sake.
His parents have split up so I'm sure there'll be lots of press coverage of both brothers and any bad performances will be blamed on them.

Can you let us know the exact moment he's allowed to start being a leader, please? Be good to know what the parameters are for future reference.

When he's made captain and/or when he can lead while making others feel good.
I don't agree about needing to be captain or any authority figure sorry. Leading without authority is one of the things you look for in a person. What kind of traits do they have when the going gets tough.
Imo there isn't a problem with Jude's leadership traits, and there's nothing wrong with commiserating his team mates when they lose. That's all great to me.
The only way it becomes a problem is if there's a deeper relationship issue between teammates. If your mate consoles you if doesn't matter if he's 20 years older or younger, you appreciate the gesture. If the guy you don't like does it you don't react the same.
Of course, none of us know what's going on and the media are sticking there foot in whenever they can so it's hard to get a balanced view of things right now.
I have only recently learnt of the split with his parents when I saw pics of his dad’s new gf going viral on some platforms.
The pressure of trying to manage their son’s development has clearly taken a toll. I have to say I’m gutted for all of them.
Pretty classless sharing loved up photos with the new gf before announcing the split
Heaps unnecessary pressure on everyone
Yeah that's a massive shame.
I remember thinking when one went to Dortmund to be with Jude and one stayed in Brum with Jobe, that they must have a really solid marriage to be able to do that and be so far apart. Shame for everyone that it's turned out this way
He might be. But he’s the one at fault if he was shagging it off without his wife knowing. Blaming the press instead of him is a bit daft if so
