Birmingham City's new strikers haven't found their feet in the Championship yet

This is what i was against in gardners transfer policy. I would of rathered us get young striker on loan from premier league, or championship proven striker, or even a league one forward with pedigree ie Kone. Its going to hit hard on Gardner if Kone and Poku spring QPR to the play offs or even better.
Pressure this month is going to be on for Marvin and Kyogo.

We were never gonna meet Poku’s wage demands

No, that doesn't meet the narrative.

the guy with one season in league one who scored 17 has pedigree, but the guy who has a Germany cap and 32 Bundesliga goals doesn't have any
alright

Smells very much like someone bending the truth in order to blame a favourite target to me. You know for a fact it was Gardner behind the fact neither are at the club?
Tbf it was never one or the other for me, I wanted both, a technical intelligent forward like Ducksch, and a mobile, powerful, pacey forward like Kone.
But I appreciate it might have been out of reach financially.
Things might be looking rosier in 6 weeks anyway, fingers crossed, getting and keeping Ducksch fit would be a start.

Are QPR paying him MORE than we are paying Kyogo or Ducksh??
Blimey.

I believe so yes
What it also might be though is that we’re more comfortable paying someone who has done it at a higher level than Poku has

They both have to massively improve (or just stay fit tbh) very quickly I think. I have a sneaky feeling that at least one of them is going to end up being quietly shunted out the club at the end of the season to whoever will take them.

We will have to pay them to leave or take a massive loss. On current form no one is going to want them.
I can understand a few concerns, I have them myself, but its far too early to be saying anything like that.
The Birmingham Mail, as ever, with their finger on the pulse.

Given their histories, it's just as likely one of them will finish the season being regarded as an unbelievable signing for this level.
