Kennels2RasputinDugarryGOATPressure this month is going to be on for Marvin and Kyogo.
They both have to massively improve (or just stay fit tbh) very quickly I think. I have a sneaky feeling that at least one of them is going to end up being quietly shunted out the club at the end of the season to whoever will take them.
We will have to pay them to leave or take a massive loss. On current form no one is going to want them.
Good lord, it’s barely been a quarter of a season.

Given their histories, it's just as likely one of them will finish the season being regarded as an unbelievable signing for this level.
It feels like some people want them to fail.
I think it is more likely that they will both be huge successes, based on their records.
😂
Liverpool are about to write off the £100m for Wirtz for the same reason. If you haven't done it by 8 games in you never will

Isak, like Kyogo, has only a league cup so far this season.

Absolutely. But given their ages, one of them needs to start delivering ASAP as we don't have time for them to adapt to the championship.
Yeah I'm still convinced both Kyogo and Ducksch will do alright for us but they do need to find the back of the net to get their confidence up

Crazy isn’t it. Only 9 games into the season we have barely seen anything and we don’t even have a settled 11 yet.
We signed two players with good records against better competition. Everything points to them being a better signing for our ambitions but we won’t know after 9 games.
If we didn’t sign them and we risked getting players who have never played near this standard we would have heard how we should have gone for proven players.
El MayorDugarryGOATThis is what i was against in gardners transfer policy. I would of rathered us get young striker on loan from premier league, or championship proven striker, or even a league one forward with pedigree ie Kone. Its going to hit hard on Gardner if Kone and Poku spring QPR to the play offs or even better.
Pressure this month is going to be on for Marvin and Kyogo.
We were never gonna meet Poku’s wage demands
QPR did. It doesn't exactly stack up with the outspend everyone mantra. That's not a dig at the owners, and there are always other factors to think about, like London location. But not being prepared to pay his wages is an easy excuse when you've maybe made a mistake.

What mantra?
The board have never come out and said "we will outspend everyone".
They speak about revenues but that =/= transfer spending to the extent we can blow the division away.
To be honest I don’t think it’s unreasonable for people to have wanted to see a bit more from both, 9 league games into the season.
Writing them off entirely is silly, but I for one would’ve been disappointed before the Ipswich game if you’d have said that, in particular Kyogo, would not have a league goal after 9 games.
The reason we went after more experienced, “proven” players is the that they wouldn’t need as much time to settle and could hit the ground running a lot quicker than a younger profile of player.
Appreciate Ducksch has barely been on the field, but that’s a problem in itself.
I'm sure Dugarry started a good few games before he scored, Kyogo looks like a great player to me already. We haven't really seen Duksch yet.

I’m happy we’re not paying what QPR are paying personally. We’ve been found out that way before

They said we'd outspend everyone but the parachute teams. QPR aren't a parachute team. I'm not having a dig, and I know there's other factors, but saying we couldn't afford Pokus wages doesn't stack up IMO.
Tbf Mayor said we were never gonna meet Poku's wage demands, that doesn't meant that we couldn't afford them, just that we didn't deem it good value.

We've tried the offering whatever wages it takes to land people approach before, hopefully no one seriously wants to have another Redknapp style trolley dash that screws are finances for years to come.
It might be we got it wrong on Poku and regret not offering more but I'm glad we don't seem to be in the era of letting agents screw us over anymore.
