May aswell go all in and do 11 subs instead. effing ridiculous if this goes through.

Next they'll be like ice hockey and just have running replacements and once rested the players can come back on, or American football where they just have special teams.
It's easier to beg for forgiveness, than ask for permission.

Would help us this season as feel we have a deep squad

Helps the big boys in Prem etc exert even more of an advantage over their competition

Cochrane was a concussion sub tbf, not through choice.

Even so his outrage over 6 seems a bit misplaced.

I don't think there is much difference between 5 & 6 subs anyway.
We are already at the stage where half the outfield team can be replaced.
The challenge is to make best use of that.

Things done gone changed. AVFC used 14 players in total in 1980-81. We used 17 in one game.

Ease the workload? 😂

Personally I think it should be 4 subs. 1 has to be a keeper and the other 3 outfield players

I was for the 5 subs at the time but having 6 subs doesn't seem to have any benefits. Especially for workload as a lot of teams want smaller squads because having a 28 man squad is hard to keep happy. Surely the best solution for workload would be to play less games but that means less money which they definitely won't do
