Was he that bad today?

I thought Keshi had an absolute shocker, but Paik didn't stand out apart from the one obvious mistake.

He's been pretty poor all season for me. Don't think he or Keshi. Are up to the standard of Championship football...sadly. But CD loves Paik never takes him off, Doyle & Leonard played well today and Paik was awful but never subbed..... CD should be questioned over this tbf

Personally I think Paik is a decent centre mid at this level but he needs to be completed by more dynamic players, he is not a 10. Keshi feels like how May would have been in the championship, game but probably a bit short of what we need.

Keshi had one of them days, it wasn’t just that his final ball was poor it was the miss kicks and miss controls. Paik was a passenger, Iwata needs too many touches before he plays the ball as well. Leonard was good tho.

He wasn't great as a 10, but I don't think he was bad - just not very suited to the position.

Him playing there seems like a sign of how stretched the squad is.

He just didn't do much of note, apart from a poor pass to turn the ball over for Bristol's goal.

Feel like him playing in the 10 is Davies just forcing him in the team, should have stuck Keshi there and Gray on the left and dropped one of Paik, Doyle or Leonard.

It is possible CD is trying to keep the team more side with him, I'm assuming Gray isn't fully fit though (hence gray is limited to a sub).

He’s not good enough at this level to be a top player.

He picks easy passes which are rarely expansive, weak in a tackle and not great defensively.

If a team let us play he is great, but he can’t deal with a press and not having much time.

This was exactly the same when we bought him in Jan ‘24.

He can be good, but he’s not the all conquering midfielder he was in League One.

No doubt on that

I mentioned Gray was labouring at Wrexham from my position 20 yards from him. I drew stinging comments. Since dropped.

Paik has struggled this season, not sure if it’s the system stifling him or he just isn’t as good as we thought. I’d play Doyle and Iwata next week.

Davies said Gray has had an injury for the last couple of weeks and was touch and go to even make the bench. When he passed himself fit yesterday the Sport science team said he could play no more than 30 minutes.
So no, I don’t think he was “dropped” 👍🏼

First half I thought Paik was good he managed to find some good passes forward and switched the play a couple times. Second half he was a bit more anonymous but I think that’s because he was playing as a 10 and they really closed the gap between defence and midfield which made him pretty useless in the second half.

Anderson’s final ball or touch just wasn’t there yesterday he got himself in good positions or done something good then fell over or miskicked it. Later on in the second half we missed Robert’s even though he wasn’t amazing when he was on but he’s one of the few players who can take it past players with ease and we needed that second half. Beat a man and get a cross in which would of created more space in the box or a better angle to cross in from

I think the latter.

He just isn’t as good as people make out.

He does not impact the game, his g/a contribution since with us is poor. Someone, who people think is that good should be impacting games and he doesn’t
