As has been said on this forum multiple times and in much more articulate ways, if you don’t rate Paik, you haven’t got a clue what you’re watching. He’s the complete midfielder, the best we’ve had since Fahey and for those keeping score he has 3 G/A for the season and the rest of those playing central midfield have 0 between them
You constantly moan at people for overreacting negatively and after a good performance from the team are going out of your way to take pops at other fans.

I agree, today was one of those games where he’s excellent. There has been other games he has been poor. It’s the nature of football. He’s an overall good player.

It was a slightly odd comment, not sure if it was in jest, Ferguson and Bowyer were better midfielders than Fahey from the same squad, before you think of any other teams/years.

Not true, Fahey stayed an extra year. So technically he would be right.

I agree with this. I’ve said it before I’m not sold on Paik as this world beater but he’s also not awful.
Why he comes into stick is he because he epitomises Davies football this year and when he’s described as ‘exceptional’ when he clearly has been and is unstoppable it causes people to use him to vent their Davies issues also.

Paik was great today. He’s not had the greatest of seasons but I think he’s still worth starting

I was referring to the Fahey in the Hughton season
So the best in 15 years
3 goals, 2 assists in 14 games
Never injured, never hides, and always sticking one to the divs who don’t know what’s in front of their eyes
He’s been very good last 2 games. Hadn’t been good for a while until Saturday. Who knew putting Doyle in there with him would bring out the best of both of them.

He's been pretty poor all season for me. Don't think he or Keshi. Are up to the standard of Championship football...sadly. But CD loves Paik never takes him off, Doyle & Leonard played well today and Paik was awful but never subbed..... CD should be questioned over this tbf
