Leonard can't do the job Paik does, nowhere near.

No, but there's no way Iwata gets the Tommy Doyle role back imo.

It'd be madness to move Doyle after the last 3 games.

Iwata back in to midfield and BOS to right back seems the obvious change to me.

I've been impressed with Iwata at right back moving up the field and in field with freedom, although not today so much. I would be a bit concerned that we'd lose the extra dimension that this offers. I think that Leonard alongside Doyle is a decent alternative if Paik isn't available.

Which is why i think it will be Doyle & Iwata with BOS as right back .

I think he'll keep Iwata where he is and only disrupt 1 place, rather than practically alter the whole right hand side of the team.

Iwata pretty much steps into midfield anyway in his new position.

Doyle and Leonard not physical or quick enough to play as a two in midfield - but with Iwata at right back he is almost a 3rd midfielder at home so would be ok. Away games would have to be BOS at RB and Iwata & Doyle midfield.

I don't pretend to be football manager .However i like that idea and the home and away change .👍

You could be right Iwata has been a revelation at RB his energy, dropping into midfield ,linking up with Roberts, making underlapping runs ,sometimes going outside .

Tbh he's my favourite Blues player .

I'm sure CD will sort it out 👍

I agree with either really. Iwata has been good at right back and brings in several positives being there.

Without Paik, maybe Davies would want him back in midfield - will see what happens!

Think it’s a real shame Paik has picked up an injury - he had been great.

Losing Paik for essentially a third of the season would be a major blow to any top 6 hopes, especially over the busy Christmas period.

It’s probably 5 to 6 weeks without surgery or 3 to 4 months if a procedure is required.

Google says 6 weeks out for a dislocated shoulder injury.

That's the best case scenario though. It can take 6 weeks or it can take 6 months depending on what damage has been caused and whether surgery is required or not.

Was he that bad today?

I thought Keshi had an absolute shocker, but Paik didn't stand out apart from the one obvious mistake.

Getting absolute pelters on twitter.

We played against one of the better teams in the league and lost narrowly. Calling players out like this is the behaviour of a dickhead

As you have gathered, it was from a previous week, but more importantly, my point was: Paik had a decent game and didn't deserve the abuse he was getting.

I'm a Paik fan. I love him on our team and he consistently makes some of our fans look silly when they call him out.

As for Keshi, he is usually a solid, consistent 7 out of 10. Something was amiss and he played 4 out of 10.

Now unfortunately, we have to do without Paik.

Leonard didn't look too confident; he played the easy ball. With a bit of awareness, he would have seen that there were consistently more progressive passes on.

I put that down to a lack of game time. If he gets a consistent run I expect him to pick out those passes more often. If he doesn't, then I will be pining for Paik even more
