I thought Keshi had an absolute shocker, but Paik didn't stand out apart from the one obvious mistake.

He's been pretty poor all season for me. Don't think he or Keshi. Are up to the standard of Championship football...sadly. But CD loves Paik never takes him off, Doyle & Leonard played well today and Paik was awful but never subbed..... CD should be questioned over this tbf
TBF all manager have their favourites, CD is no different. The problem with CDs favourites is they are always the ones that slow the game down.
I disagree about Keshi, yesterday not so good, but since his return I think he has been one of the better players.

Agree with this, there has been games this year when Keshi has absolutely stepped up and looked like one of our better threats, the Preston game in the number 10 he looked like he’d solved the problem we had there.

Remember when he was a regular in the side that got relegated?
Yeah, he's not that good.

God I got absolutely hammered after we got relegated for saying this and told a million times ‘I don’t know football’
99% certain there was a thread saying he would lead the league in assists in league one easily.

He wasn't just in the first eleven that failed to beat an already relegated Huddersfield to stay up, he was anonymous
Last season he was a pig amongst guinea pigs. He's a useful squad player
Not every opinion has to be so extreme, either positive or negative.
He’s an average footballer, always has been and always will be. He has some decent games, some bad games, and let’s be honest quite rarely has a fantastic game where he really affects the outcome. Just because he’s not amazing, doesn’t mean we just bomb him out. If that was the case we would bomb out 90% of our squad.
Even the best sides in the world have at least 4/5 players who are average or below average for their level. He’s one of ours. Even the best sides in our league have plenty of players like this.
I don’t blame you guys personally, this is just how football and internet is nowadays.
Wasn’t really worse than any of the others, poor on the goal, though also responsible for our best pass and piece of incentive play in the first half (the back flick to put Keshi in)
Twitter is full of extreme opinions with no nuance, I’ve seen people slaughtering Beadle for the goal even though he slipped over.

Big problem is I really think a lot forgot how much better the championship is than league one.
Last year people were floating the idea that both Iwata and Paik could potentially play premier league.
This year they have been average and Iwata id say poor he really hasn’t handled the step up well.
In the championship Paik is just another run of the mill midfielder nearly ever midfielder can do what he can in this league and a lot are much better.
So this massive expectation has been built on them two, also the manager who seems reluctant to change them if absolutely necessary.
Doyle and Leonard looked far better as a pair than them two have all season yesterday.
I dunno, always thought he’s looked head and shoulders even in the championship last time.
I don’t think he or iwata are the problem tbh. It’s the recruitment around them.
I think we had a solid base to bring younger players around like on the wings and at full back and up front.
Klarer and Neuman, Paik and Iwata with more youthful options could have worked.
Now they are lumbered with older players who are either past it or close to passing it and it all feels a bit like a wasted chance to develop something
Going half a season with one left back is scandalous. We needed to upgrade that Dykes option as well to a more mobile option you can head a ball. And with Laird injured we are short on the right hand side with Roberts the only wide man comfortable on that side. Gray , Keshi and Koumas all want to play on the left. Playing Koumas there over Gray and Keshi is bewildering. He really does look an under 21 player

So premier league winner Demarai Gray who is in the prime of his career or Patrick Roberts who played 45 games in promotion winning Sunderland’s team, or Jay Stansfield who just gone and won the under 21 European championship arent good enough for Paik and Iwata and that’s the problem. Got it.

I agree with this point, Paik wasn’t really any worse than anyone else, but he gets pointed out because he’s undroppable in Davies eyes whereas the others aren’t.

FFS Jay Stansfield was also a regular in that team
Paik is a solid championship player. Neat and tidy on the ball, but without the cutting edge and creativity that Doyle provides
