There's too much opinion and not enough fact.

Just hope they're not falling back on a single metro extension and fleets of 1875 buses. A comprehensive transport overhaul for the area needs to be undertaken. Otherwise we'll just be moving to a glorified Madjeski or Reebok stadium

hopefully they include a lot of bus lanes, it seems obvious but this is BCC

could do with them now tbf - would make the 1875 a hell of a lot more useable

Sure it's still walkable from town unlike those two but it is a dinghy walk so I guess a similar fleet of buses would be required as they have at Madjeski and as a result it'll look a bit naff is all I'm saying. Purpose built rapid transit corridor has to be better than that maybe one of those guided busways they have in Adelaide and Cambridge?

Of course the entire east side of Brum could be spruced up over the next ten years with pleasant walkways, cyclepaths and the rest of it. Be a game changer.

1875 buses joining the rest of Bham traffic fighting its way into town is a bit naff. Guided dedicated busways round to several pick up points adjacent to the single metro extension might work. One out to Stechford, one across to Sparkhill perhaps. Then there's a bit of a network rather than just a metro extension and the same buses we have now fighting their way into town

You'll be able to shout "get me one of those 2 pint thingys please" over to your mate who's sat in the beer garden of one of about 5 brewery taps at the western edge of the sports quarter while your train swings by and then gets stuck at the bottleneck into New Street so you not only miss necking your stein you'll likely also miss K.O.

Request stop?

-HS2 and Curzon 15/20 minute walk via new bridge
- New Tram
- Relocated Adderly Park expected to take ~30% (?) of visitors.
- Rail Hub to provide further capacity.

I’ll be able to get to the ground ~120 miles away in about 90 minutes.

All very nice for those on their big day out in Brum
What about our core half a million south/south east Bham residents/Blues fans?
