Was thinking about how many of the current crop make it into a ‘best 11’ of all the players we’ve had since we went down in 2011. Based solely on performances/contribution over that period, however you interpret that. Really asking how much value do you put in the higher quality of football over the last 18 months, compared to the shift certain individuals put in over the extended period of stagnation.
Something like this? Feel bad leaving Juke out, but it is what it is.
Allsop
Colin - Klarer - Morrison - Cochrane
Burke - Iwata - Jude - Maghoma
Stanno - Adams
9 man bench: Randolph, Caddis, Bielik, James, Paik, Bacuna, Gray, Donaldson, Juke
Most of this current squad have more ability than 99% of the players we’ve had since 2012, but I think you need to factor in the work players like Maghoma and Colin did just to keep us ticking over.

I've got question marks over Allsop, Colin and Maghoma there.
We've had better keepers than Allsop, definitely.
I struggled for the keeper, I’ll be honest.
Butland was raw, Camp was a meme.
I guess Sarkic or Myhill?
That’s the right answer. Can’t believe Randolph was suggested because he was bad for us but had a rubbish defence in front of him.
Myhill
Laird Klarer Davies Murphy
Jude Paik
Burke Stansfield Gray
Adams
If you’re including the players that stayed I’d add in Fahey and Murphy.
Maybe Zigic depending on how many pints I’ve had.
Sarkic
Colin Klarer Curtis Davies David Murphy
Jude Fahey
(RW)Burke Che Adams(LW)
Juke Marlon King
Can I count Che left wing? If not I'll go with 1st stint Dimmy on the left
I love Stansfield but King is the option by far.
I’d go with:
Myhill
Laird. Klarer C Davies. Murphy
Burke Bellingham Fahey Gray
King Adams
Hopefully in time would replace Adams with Duksch, in a 10 type role, but too early to say for certain yet
Rab C NesbittRandolph was ok
Randolph got a move to a Premier League club where played nearly 30 games in two seasons after leaving us, so he really did do OK at Blues.
