I don't think it really works because the Championship has improved so much.
I relative terms it is the 11/12 squad obviously, but actually many of the current squad are technically better.
We made the play offs in 2011-12. If it hadn't been for the European games and the FA Cup run which added 12 games more than Reading, and West Ham played, 9 games more than Blackpool played and 7 more than Southampton played I think we'd have gone up.
I know he was young and did little other than score, but Chris Wood is the best forward we've had since relegation.
You can also make a case for King and Zigic. Adams would be just behind them.
I think esp in this squad, Zigic would be a game changer.
I'd also take Dan Burn, but I appreciate his impact wasn't huge for us.
Super HansI love Stansfield but King is the option by far.
Stanno has the advantage of not being a violent nonce though.

That he served time for sexual assault should have meant he never played for the club and is why I don't think he is in the running for a best of side.

I would go with this although if I can I'd try and get Redmond in somehow over Gray. Murphy just gets in I thought he was injured most the time after we won the cup but just noticed he played 33 games in the first season back in the championship
