Yeah I know it exists but I’m not sure why anyone would risk joining a queue etc if they want to go, when you can buy in seconds online
I know some are a bit old school but just seems odd to me
In the space of time this has been mentioned some of them are selling anyway.
Think this is a good point about it being a mid week after a Saturday home game. Norwich on the Saturday after the international break. If I wasn't a ST holder I wouldn't bother with this game.
Also other things to consider we're coming up to Christmas, weather is bad and it's mid week game which in general don't sell well.
KESThe club said it was the highest amount ever recorded.Wagner’s DreamKESYou are limited by the amount that you have to make available for non season ticket holders per game. Only way would be to have taken the new STs that were available away from other areas of the ground.WardyKESMany unsold in the Upper Railway End tonight.
That's why we need to build the fan base so that when people can't make it or don't want to go there will be others to take up the seats. We have about 30k regularly engaged fans and 25k seats. It doesn't take many of those unable to make it before we struggle to sell.
TBF, 12,000 on the ST waiting list yet they decided to not sell a single one in the upper Railway End. Unless flying at the top of the league it's gonna be a tough sell.
They should have sold a couple of hundred up there IMO.
There was still wiggle room. Think we only sold 20,500 ST's in the end. In 2002 they sold 22,500.
Our work is done
Guilt tripping fans is the way forward

They did:
Following a record-breaking period in which 98% of existing Season Ticket holders renewed, and a number of the 14,500 supporters on the waiting list were offered the chance to purchase, we are proud to be heading into the 2025/26 Sky Bet Championship season with 20,000 Season Ticket holders – the highest number ever recorded at St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.
We'd like to thank every supporter for incredible support and continued loyalty.

The club are wrong. We sold 22,500 in 2002 / 2004. We have sold less this time round.
If we're gonna take them literally then they are right as it's the most ever at St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.

Yeah but don't let facts get in the way of a good post, no one else on the internet does.
If it sounds good - you bet your bony arse the club are posting that sweet tweet!

True

In 2002 I swear we sold around 21,000 STs and that was the cap.

The number was 22,500 in 2002. If that wasnt true and it was less than 20,500 then fair enough.
I am sure they sold ST's in the Upper Railway End back then though. Why they havent now is an odd one as your left with a whole tier unsold.
Yep, aside from Ipswich definitely the most I’ve looked forward to a home game all season.
