Surely nobody is that much of a fair weather fan, its a balmy 14 degrees out there
If its pissing down then fair enough
I appreciate its fraught with challenges but how would people feel if they flogged off the remaining tickets for £5 if unsold a couple of hours before?
I’d rather see it full and have the added atmosphere than see empty seats, even if I’ve already paid for my ST at a higher price.
TCProblem with that is people wouldn’t buy tickets for any midweek game to get the same scenario happening regularly. It’s daft.I appreciate its fraught with challenges but how would people feel if they flogged off the remaining tickets for £5 if unsold a couple of hours before?

I cardiac arrested 6 years ago today. I didn’t come back to life to read saftness like that
Not weather alone but with everything else thrown in it does have an impact. You're more likely to want to go to a game on a Tuesday night if it was light and sunny than dark and dreary. Plus if you need to get up early you're not going to get back until close till 11 or later.
Poor excuses in my book. I’m a postman. Each to their own though
This is the problem we have to solve to grow the home support.
If we have around 1100 unsold seats but 12000 on a waiting list how and why are we not attracting 10% of them to tonight's game??
Also saw Millwall have only sold 1.1k so attendance will likely be around 25.5k ish.
Not ideal but still 5k up on what it would have been a few years back. I’m not worried at all
No I'm not overly worried either.
I think as mentioned if we was sat top it would be a sell out so maybe this is reactionary to a number of flat performances lately as well.
It's not just us. Look at Stokes highlights from the weekend. They are right up there in the playoffs but there's masses of empty seats. Think they only had 23k with 3k from Bristol!
Happy reborn Anniversary BTW!!
My Blue HeavenBased on their usual level of support midweek there will be about 67 Millwall fans
1150 tickets sold
I’m just giving a bit of a balanced look on why people might not go tonight but I’ll be there. But I don’t think having 25k-26k tonight is a bad look or disappointing compared to the end of the Sullivan years and the past 10 years or so it’s pretty good going

We often only take about that number to Millwall for a midweek away game.
It's a late night if you have to work the next day.
MikejkYeah I’ve said similar about the crowd 👍I’m just giving a bit of a balanced look on why people might not go tonight but I’ll be there. Sheep2We took 3525 to Preston recently. Our away support hasn’t been this good for the best part of 50 years. My lifetime anyway. We’d sell out midweek at Millwall now I reckonA_n_EMy Blue HeavenBased on their usual level of support midweek there will be about 67 Millwall fans

Millwall being the opposition won't put anyone with a brain off coming to the game tonight.
Absolutely fecking this. Who gets put off going to a home game based on who the opposition are. FFS
Yes it may be cold and a bit wet but just get down there and back the lads.
