There were 6-7 strong contenders but Doyle for me. He’s made that position his own now & is showing exactly what CD wanted from him.
His fitness is definitely improving. Getting around the pitch much better now
Possibly Stansfield’s best all round game sine he’s been at the club, a very mature performance tonight and building a great understanding with Ducksch

Roberts for me, but as others have said you could pick a fair few. Love the Japanese Phillip Lahm, pretty sure he is still bombing on now

You could say any of Iwata, Paik, Doyle, Roberts, Stansfield and I wouldn't argue. Ducksch if he'd had 10 more minutes too.
Iwata for me. Unbelievable and compliments Roberts superbly

I could easily choose any from:
Stanno - graft and link up play, great goal. Drives this team on his own, sometimes. Sets the tempo.
Paik - Finally learnt to play forwards, and now adding goals to his game. One of his best games, for me.
Iwata - How he can be at RB one minute, and in the 10 position the next, is baffling. An unreal engine on him.
Ducksch - We've had to wait for him to be fit, but he looks every inch the German international we thought we'd get. Will only get better in time.
Roberts - My Motm. He is every inch the modern day winger. Can go both ways, ties defenders in knots, and does the dirty work too. I hope we sign him permanently.
Doyle. I can't think how long it's been since we've had a centre-mid anywhere near this quality.
I’m finding myself agreeing with everyone’s suggestions, which shows what a good performance it was. Maybe Doyle just shades it because he made things happen so effectively, but then I think it’s a shame not to pick Iwata, Roberts, Cochrane, Klarer, Paik, Neumann etc
So many good performances.
