Fair play, I’ve questioned his level this season, but last few weeks he’s really stepped up. Delivery consistent and looked really steady despite being targeted every week.
Massively helped by Klarer on his side rather than one of the chuckle brothers brought in the summer
The overreaction to what was one very poor game was mental. He's a half decent full back at this level.
I was also a bit worried about him. But he looks much more confident by Klarer and Neumann. He really puts his body on the line too which I love
He's been brilliant on set pieces the last few games and today was a cracker
Yes, he's a bit slow and a bit short but pretty bloody good at everything else, and full backs are traditionally short arses in any case, he's probably above average height for a full back.
Easy to overlook it given the team performance last night, but that was a cracking strike for the third goal last night, son.
Well done Alex.

It’s no surprise that without bombscare Cashin or Seen Red Robinson, he looks much more assured.
It was, but also a wicked deflection.
I saw someone compare it with Iwata's Newcastle goal.
Not even close.

Can't beliveve someone paid £10m for Cashin - aptly named for the selling club.

It was CD who compared it. Needs to get a grip.
He did very well at Derby. We may well need him later this season, so let's not write him off totally.

Hadn't noticed the deflection till you pointed it out, Ian (I was side on in the kop ) so just checked the highlights and yes.
No, it was never close to Iwata's full flight hit, but technically it was an excellent strike on the volley.
In a game full of really impressive team movement and team goals, I'm just surprised it didn't even get a mention post match.
I’ll put my hands up and thought he was out of his depth in this league.
I will be delighted to be wrong.

If he can cut out the errors and gets a run of games he could do a job for us at some stage
People were saying Neumann wasn't all that after a few games, but now he's getting a second chance, he's settling in to be a real asset for us - it helps that Klarer is becoming more and more comfortable on the left with each game.
I still think we messed up by not signing another left back, I can't expect him to play another single minute of Championship football but he has done well so far
