Grown into the league massively. Will always be wingers quicker than him but he really seems to have improved his positioning and timing of stepping in.

Happy for him he never gives less than 100 percent but was worried for him in this league.

The most consistent player we've had for years, well him and Klarer.

He was always fine, some people wrote him off too early - like before the season started. Not sure why, other than it's what people seem to think they need to do.

He's a perfectly decent Championship left back.

Just said on the other thread how good he’s been. He was fine last year but occasionally (very occasionally to be fair) he seemed a bit caught out for pace and vulnerable in behind. I wondered how he would go - certainly didn’t write him off - with the challenge of facing better players. He’s risen to it and more.

I think people got carried away with the notion we would be outspending everyone and buying stellar talents for every position.

Good enough doesn’t seem to be good enough for some.

Plus, people are mad. Look at the incoherence over Neumann.

Players usually need time to settle anyway, sometimes you don’t see it for a whole season. We were solid down the centre last night, big Phil was excellent. Neither of our central defenders have cost a lot, great additions I think.

His set pieces have improved too.

Thought some of his delivery was poor last night at times, by his standards - which says a lot in itself. He's perfectly fine, a very good Champs full back - I love how he links up so well with Dimi - some of his balls down the line to set Dimi off are a delight.

I’ve previously been critical, but he’s playing well atm.
I thought his set pieces were ok last night, whilst excellent against Norwich. I have more anticipation when Doyle is standing over a set piece though.

But good to see Cochrane not being targeted as he appeared to be a couple of months ago.
Seems a decent bloke too.

He has been magnificent. Good defensively and good offensively, as others have said, he's not the quickest but positions himself well.

The meltdown after he had one poor game at Stoke was ridiculous.

He's a more than good enough championship left back. We need competition for him in January, unless Buchanan is fit again by then

This. Never worried about him. He just does his job.

Yeah, some wingers are really good and every now and then they do well against the full back. I think Osula had a great game against Cochrane last year in the cup and that's when some doubts set in, but he's a great player to have in our team and squad. I can see him being around for the chimneys, even if he's a reserve by then.
