Should we try and buy Beadle if we can?

I'm not so sure. I think he could have stopped the Baggies goal and the one last night. He doesn't seem to stretch enough when he's diving on the floor.

I know what I'm talking about. I used to be a keeper.
Yeah, free Thongs.

Irrespective of whether we are promoted this season or not, I think we should pull.out all of the stops to sign both Beadle and Doyle.
If we don't we will have big shoes to fill next season.

I hate to say this, but if we are promoted and considering Wolves don't think he's (Doyle) good enough for the Prem and Brighton? (Beadle) also - do you think we would? And I'm not trying to be snarky, it's a genuine question.

I think Doyle would be at least good enough to be part of the squad and would reduce just how many completely new players have to come in.
Beadle, given his age, looks like he will be good enough - which is why I think we have a really low chance of him being for sale.

Fair. Of course, no one actually knows what approach Knighthead would take , let's say if we got promoted this season. Would they plough millions in? or would they play the longer game and try and stay up but not break the bank - knowing that in 5 years our finances will be hugely transformed?

I love Tom, obviously and would have his babies, but they are here, ultimately, to make money.

Hes a good young keeper

Think we could find better next season if we're in the Champ without the need to spend what would be a sizeable fee, if we're in the Prem he wont be good enough... yet

They'd both be a year older and with more first team experience.
They are both young players. Beadle is 21 has made 101 appearances in the league. I think he'll comfortably be a PL keeper in a few years

I think Doyle would do ok in the right team. I don't think W*lv*s is the right team - certainly not this season- for anyone to shine in. It's taken him a few games to fit in at Blues, but he looks pretty good now. I think he could be at least a good squad option for a PL team.

Could we get Mayo grow 18" (or use Sandy Powell arms? Look it up young 'uns) coz h3 looks good with his feet and stops loads in the warm up. Then we'd be improving our own, not someone else's. Id revert to Allsop coz I don't think Beadle is much better and he ain't coming to us.

My feeling is they will plough money in - the aim will be to get up and stay up. Sunderland will likely be the model.

We probably won't go up, but if we did then I think it's hard for most fans to imagine the difference in transfer approach that it would cause. Look at Forest and Sunderland when they went up, most promoted teams now spend >£100m to try and stay up. Signing Beadle and Doyle would be within our means and they'd both get better. It'd be a yes for me.

If we don't go up, then I think Beadle gets sold/loaned to a lower half prem team next year.

I think it's been said on here that we don't have a chance of signing Beadle

Yeah, afaik Brighton have no intention of selling at this moment

Yeah I read they see him as a future England Number 1

People might scoff at that, but he's only 21, this is his third full season in the Champ and he is improving all the time, he will have a very good Premier League career I think.
