Indeed.

And that’s the thing now. I don’t trust anything he says. I’ll still click potentially as there could be something in it and I make my own mind up depending on what others may be saying, but I’m absolutely convinced that in the long run he’d be better off cutting out the hearsay.

In fairness to Mox his source at the club might have told him it's complete.

What does a club source stand to benefit from by telling a journalist something that can’t have been true?

Or He could be benefitting from making 2 stories out of a rumour, first article a signing second article oh no it fell through. double whammy clicks (whatever his reputation people/we are still going to read it unfortunately)

No doubt there will be another article explaining why the transfer broke down. 3 articles for 1, all driven by the misinformation in the original article.

I’ve said as much though already. He could have still written two articles (the second one being the deal breaking down). It’s just the first one should have stopped short of saying the signing was complete.

Again, as we both agree on, you, myself and most others would have still clicked each time.

😁 Absolutely!
The sane thing happened with BOS in the summer- Moxley announced it was done, then a couple of days later said it had collapsed, then a day or so later he signed.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this transfer still goes through and Moxley has loads more interactions with a ‘soap opera’ transfer than if he’d just announced he’d signed.

We do my head in

Before going off and being all dramatic let’s find out a) if it is off and b) why… because it might well be something far beyond the control of Blues.
I’ve only read this far so excuse me if my reply has been done previously.
But typical blues. Ffs etc are daft. Transfers fall through regularly. We should have other suitable targets for his position and age. The world is full of talented players z
Calm down a bit folks

Did he post about the BOS deal collapsing? I don't recall that at all.

I think then, just like now, he went early in the hope of being first, and got away with it.

He played well but let’s not get sucked in by one appearance
And he’s too expensive now imo

Yes, what we need to do is get good at spotting these players on the way to teams like Barnsley, not once they are there.

Hopefully this summer the 1st team will need less work and the club can start to try and build up the academy side by picking up players like him.
