Find this hard to believe, Maybe a little cynical tbh mate. Whoever is telling you it’s deffo off would also deffo know why it’s off

They absolutely would know - doesn't mean they're going to tell me why and I'm smart enough to know when it's not my business.

Don't get drawn in Dan. You and I know who your intel is. Don't fall for baiting mate.

Yes, please keep us informed as to what is likely and what is not. We understand that is what your info amounts to 👍

Ignore the naysayers.

Not aimed at you Stechy. But some do believe everything rumour wise. Just wait for confirmation. Moxley isn’t in the know. Few are. So the stick he gets is unwarranted as most should know he tells porkies by now. Even Mayor got pelters after Stansfield signed, and still does about it from some. Mayor didn’t actually say he wouldn’t sign either. Miracles obviously do happen. The club confirmed it

Going purely on how the Stansfield transfer unfolded and the footage behind the scenes, I don't think the people in the room even knew if it was happening or not, let alone passing rumours to journos.

These deals seem very tentative for those who know everything, let alone those who know nothing.

So yeah take everything with a pinch of salt until confirmed. I like to see us improve the squad but im not sure what people get out of anxiously refreshing their screen and outrage when it falls apart with precisely zero reliable facts for context.

This bloke for example could be a long term injury waiting to happen for all we know, and we've decided it's not financially viable, which is sensible.

Stechy is spot on.

I’ve always held a deal ain’t done until they’re holding a scarf for good reason - things can and do change quickly.

In our past I can remember Dwight Yorke being in the Celtic boardroom when he signed for us because it changed in an instant; the stories of players changing direction on the motorway to go to different clubs for medicals are fairly frequent.

Truth is until the contract is signed even the people in the room cannot be 100% it will be done because of this - so it’s always best to be circumspect and sceptical.

Or a centre back doing a bunk out of the toilet windows mid-medical because Rangers put in a bid?

I might be miss-remembering it a bit...

Or, most crazy of all, Ronnie Ekelund literally doing a lap of honour during a home game to announce his signing and then disappearing after and ghosting everybody at the club.

Narrator: “he never signed for Birmingham”.

Yes, I remember at the time being really confused what had gone on - at least now with the internet you do have some idea fairly quickly. Rather than wondering why we had a new signing parade around the pitch then a week later the local paper tells you what happened.

We were all set to sign that Rene Krhin, he had agreed everything, we invited him to our cup game against Newcastle, the ground was half empty and then put him in the Main Stand, I feel like that was a mistake..

Yes, I think Tatts said he had everything agreed and was waiting on a work permit so did some training and complained the whole time.
