Translates as "The Jhon Solis soap opera. Birmingham's Championship economic offer is very high. They're going all out for him."

21 years old, 6'2, no goals or assists 3 starts this season and used off the bench by Girona, what's not to like? Any better than we have at present and also Girona looking to recoup their 5mill euro investment.

21 years old and 6 ft 2 is a good start imo.

Look what Ducksch has said about different playing styles in different countries. What’s to say this guy isn’t suited more to a physical type of game than in Spain?

Scouting report on "The Scouting App"

"Technically, Jhon Solís is a remarkable player. Although it is not his most outstanding area, he is a midfielder with a good associative capacity and a good ball delivery in the construction of the game.

It is in the physical aspect, in this case, where we find his greatest potential. His large wingspan and stride allow him to occupy a large area of the pitch, steal many balls and be very dominant and winning in duels, both in the air and on the ground.

Tactically, on the other hand, he is a fairly organised player, disciplined and with good decision making."

‘Wingspan’????

Length of arms outstretched. Common terminology these days

He can keep an opposition player away from our keeper from the penalty spot apparently

I was never in doubt about what it actually meant, but "common" terminology?

Guessing "good at pushing some other bugger out the way coz of his Mr Tickle'esque arms"

I suppose you'd have to concede its better than having really, really short arms.
