He's also playing Athletico tbf to him.

We don't need players good enough to play Athletico off the park, we need a midfielder who can stop the likes of Watford waltzing through us, or QPR bullying the feck out of us

I can understand why he's not rated too highly there, Spanish clubs and fans value technique, touch, awareness etc. over most attributes and those are obviously his weaknesses.

That said, if he can tidy up his touch and his passing just a little bit, break up the play and mostly focus on defending whilst letting our other attacking players do the rest, he could be a good addition.

Looked like he used his frame well, something a few of our current players fail to do.
