There was a passage of play on Saturday, he went past their right back, he was clear to get in the penalty area uncontested, inexplicitly crossed it over everyone's head and I think out for a throw in.

His only strength is as a forward player he does offer a good first line of defence, and you could never question his commitment, but I'm also of the opinion we need to do better

He really does try but he's chronically thick, it really annoys me when we have a box full of players and he's trying to take the man on instead of just creating a yard and swinging it in, he hasn't seemed to grasp yet that you don't need to go past the defender to cross the ball. He also day dreams far too often out of possession, he's not lazy, he just switches off.

Just not Championship level sadly.

His loan recall option ends on Thursday so we will see what happens

As horrible as it sounds thick is the best way to describe Koumas. He let Warren Barton at RB send him for a hotdog Saturday, and escape pressure, when he could of stayed goal side and forced him to play out for a throw or into danger.

Same at the Cov game vs MVE. Such a young lad so hard to get on his back but so far off the pace in a lot of the games

Not done enough. His decision making is poor.
Need to aim higher ….. someone with more experience and who contributes assists and creates opportunities for a few more efforts on target. Might sound harsh but his performances haven’t matched the ambitions which Knighthead have talked about.

Not harsh at all, fair assessment that I agree with. Had his best game for us by far against Cov - if he could do that more often then great, but he's shown nothing before that and has been very frustrating.

Yes, and I'm certainly not fussed if they do recall him provided we don't end up short as a result.
Feels a bit of a shame/ frustrating, as he could be a good player just not able to actually do it in a game. Shows the difference between academy football and first team football.
