Not sure if he starts now for a while now its been getting difficult to justify him starting take away his closing down the 2 C/H and undouted energy he brings .His first touch in goalscoring situations has deserted him hes giving the defender a chance to either block him or take the ball off him no doubt Davies will let him run them ragged for an hour then bring Priske on but if we are going to make the play offs we need Jay back firing if he starts .

"Not sure if he starts now for a while"

No, i'm not sure either.

Then again i'm not sure that he doesn't start either.

Guess i'll wait for the next team line-up announcement

Priske is still working on his fitness and unproven in the Championship so Stansfield to start. He now has real pressure on his place though.

Considering Priske is in an individual pre season & the other options being Kyogo or you move Ducksh forward and bring in Fujimoto to the 10 position i am 99% sure he starts Saturday

Long gone are the days when forwards were measured on goals alone. He's have a bit of a dry spell for sure but he's much more to the team than just a goal scorer. If he's fit he starts.

Yep. The under 21 win last summer told you that. Stansfield played his part by pressing rather scoring but didnt get dropped
Alive. Early starter. Enricher of lives

Really surprised when he never shot against Oxford when clean through, lack of confidence ?

Yep...there's something intangible about Stansfield too.....maybe it's the whole "face of the project" stuff but we are just better when he's on the pitch...lifts the crowd, and has the ability to turn a nothing game into a something game, sometimes just by running around barging someone over....not fashionable, but has the ability to raise the performances of people around him.

I do love Stanno but I've noticed his first touch has mysteriously gone down hill this season.

I've noticed you talk a lot of rubbish.

It's never been that good to be honest.

He makes up for it in different ways, though.

As we get better he may well struggle to keep up with the improvement in standard. We'll see.
There's too much opinion and not enough fact.
