Earl Grey,

No milk, no sugar.

I import Lapsang Souchong teabags directly from China. Definately no milk, but I like a bit of sugar. Earl Grey as a back up.

Earl Grey,

No milk, no sugar.

Same here - the only tea that I drink these days. Very refreshing. In my posher days, I took Mrs Tam for tea at The Ritz - I have never tasted a finer cup of Earl Grey than that. It was almost worth the money!

Mrs Tam or the Earl Grey? There’s a Nelson’s column thing to Earl Grey to commemorate the great reform act in Newcastle. If any of you are ever in Northumberland I recommend a visit to Howick, it’s beautiful and just off the coast. The family never made a penny from Earl Grey tea, surprising for the aristocracy to miss out on a few quid.

The Earl Grey, of course. Sorry, I mean Mrs Tam. Obviously. :-)

I've never seen the statue, but it looks pretty imposing from the photos that I've seen. I don't know Northumberland all that well, but lots of it looks beautiful. I did have a customer in Wooler once, and my brother in law lives betwen Otterburn and Rothbury, which is a good enough reason not to visit.

Just got back from walkies with our Frankie the Staffy, and we're just sitting down with a cup of Earl Grey and a Dentastik.
Watch he doesn’t burn himself and you be careful with your teeth

I put a slice of lemon with it, which he's not keen on. The Dentastik is lovely, but I've begun to have erotic thoughts about our postman's leg. Mind you, I have done for years.
I’ll get a transfer
Alive. Early starter. Enricher of lives

It's an Irish brand - you'll find it in supermarkets on the world foods aisle.

Mom's from Cork so it's all she's ever had in.

Yeh my old man is from Cork but I prefer Thompson's which is from Belfast to Barry's .

I go over to the North regularly so bring back some Thompson's tea bags in my bag .

Never understood the fuss over Yorkshire tea bags , it's meh .I prefer Sainsbury's red label .

Barry's or Yorkshire?

Ive recently discovered Barry's and gotta say it tops the charts for me just over Yorkshire.

3:15pm Sun Moon Lake Milk Tea for me.

Not cheap cos it’s imported from Taiwan but I’m a huge fan.

Yorkshire have great marketing.
The tea is very average. Endorsed by every known Yorkshire person.

Not many people give a sh*t what county they come from unless it's Yorkshire do they?

I genuinely choose Tetley. It's a nice and strong brew

Clipper tea or the Irish - Lyons or Barrys. Yorkshire tea and Tetley are just junk these days. I think Clipper is from Dorset.

A decent cup of tea is a decent cup of tea. It's all about the preparation and the time and then the time (or lack of sometimes) to appreciate it.

I have about 7 different varieties in my cupboard and have to go through them in date order but mix and match.

Anyone ever reuse an old bag? Let it drip dry and pop it back in the tea pot for the next brew? I do this with any high strength bags and pop a weak as piss bliddeth tea bag in there for good measure. Comes out about right.

Often times it's more about the quality of moo juice than the bag itself

Another good tea brand from (Northern) Ireland is Thompson’s.

However, I’ve gone old school and switched to loose-leaf tea a few months ago. Assam and Darjeeling are very good if you like black teas.

Thompson’s all day 10 times a day for me 👍🏻
