Yes, got the email. I was a bit fed up that they'd all gone although it was probably about noon by the time I looked. It was only then that I realised that there were 4 allocated for each ST holder. I'll admit that I was a bit fed up with that, whatever the rights and wrongs were, so glad to get another chance.

In a fit of pique, I was going to order a TOFFS penguin (they seem very good) but then I realised that a) it was more of a keepsake for me and b) wanted to spend the money with the club.

I would just add that I'm so impressed with what the owners are doing, will do, and have done for the club that it's such a minor annoyance. What it is for me is a (very well executed IMO) nod to the time I fell in love with Blues and that's why it stung just a little, big baby that I am.

True about the nod to the time and with a bit of luck it can be put to bed after this, as we need to start being winners and this shirt was associated with losing and underachievement.

How does the penguin shirt fit in comparison to the home shirt?

I'd disagree with that as it's iconic largely because it's associated with TF, our greatest and probably most iconic player. It means a lot to the club clearly, and - evidently - to thousands of Blues fans. No matter if people try to put that era down, it represented a time where it was great to be growing up as a Blues fan with quite a few players that many of us can look back on with pride. I do agree with you that we hope that the new era brings success that's never been achieved before.

I got one last year - on first appearances, I was surprised at the good quality and the accuracy of details.

a few washes in and the sponsor has cracks in it

I'd do it again for limited editions tops, or when I am poor, but otherwise I will buy the real thing for now - you get what you pay for, basically

The shirt is a lot thinner than I thought it would be, considering how good quality the last tops I bought were ( white kit and black kit last session)

Same here but your old link works too.

You can also order multiple shirts still, so this will further fuel the resell market instead of letting honest fans purchase something they like for a fair price.

Really poor from the club this.

Got the email through at 9.10am. went onto the site, went through the order process, went to pay - 'out of stock'. Tried in four different sizes (as it was going to be a keepsake, it didn't matter that much). I was a bit disappointed to see that you could still buy two though.

Never mind - £70 saved, I suppose.

If it's just a keepsake... or for framing... buy a junior one?

I’m guessing the “well this is awkward” message is basically saying it’s sold out?
